I have a rash on my stomach that looks like red little pin pricks all over it, it itches like crazy too. I looked up DH pictures and it looks nothing like it, no blisters. But I've read that dh comes in different forms is this true...

ARCHIVED Need Help Finding Safe Brands
answerseeker replied to bisja's topic in Super Sensitive People
Oh good to know. I was having some issues the other day. I ate a gluten-free cereal bar, 2 gluten-free cookies with my tea, and a gluten-free bun with my bratwurst for dinner lol. No wonder -

I cannot eat processed gluten free products either. For some reason Glutino is the worst for me even though they are safe. Must be something in it. Anyway I can tolerate Pamela's mixes and Enjoy Life cookies. Once in a while I make a pizza with Pamela's and don't have any problems with it. It is listed as less than 5ppm so it is on the lower side. I think... -

yes I really feel for the people that have to work. I couldn't even imagine trying to hold down a job feeling the way I have. I do homeschool and last year was bad. I barely made it through the day. -
It's only been a little over 2 months for me as well. I'm still underweight and I drink Ensure Plus to try to get some weight back on. Sorry to hear about your work, I'm blessed to be able to stay home and homeschool my children but I do run my own handcrafted jewelry business and sometimes it's hard to get the energy up to work on orders. It takes...

The symptoms showed up the next morning after I ate the potatoes for dinner, although I felt suddenly very tired an hour or so after but the cramps and d came the next day I ate the chicken the day before just like this time, except the day before I had asparagus with it so only the potatoes were a new addition. I always eat asparagus as its my favorite... -

Yep I thought perhaps the milk. I know I have some lactose intolerance as I've switched to LF milk and have felt better, however it never gave me the cramping pains. Only gluten and oats have done that to me. -

He said they took biopsies and I plan on asking him next week when I see him. It seems odd that it came back so quickly. -

My cat doesn't bother me as much but my German Shepherd will give me an asthma attack each time. I feel so bad that he's outside but I'm hoping to start letting him in a little bit at a time -

Ok so 1 week prior to my blood work and 3 weeks prior to my biopsy I was on prednisone. A lot. I was hospitalized due to asthma so the prednisone was in my iv and I was on the oral pills. So my tests were negative. I now know for a fact prednisone interferes with testing because it was mentioned in the book "real life with celiac" written by 2 GI doctors... -

ARCHIVED Best Way To Deal With Gas & Bloating
answerseeker replied to Sammyj's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Are you sticking with just whole foods? The first month my diet was very plain and I was improving, bloating was pretty much gone but then I started introducing gluten free packaged foods because I always felt so hungry plus my weight is down and the rd recommended some of these foods. Now the bloating and gas are back. Are you consuming dairy still? -
I'm coming down with a cold and the other day I got gluten symptoms from a product that was labeled "may contain wheat" now from what I understand from you guys is that doesn't mean it has gluten but could be cc'd with it. Is there some kind of connection to being more sensitive at a time when our defenses are already down? Kind of makes sense. Our bodies...

It's hard to know if it had wheat but I ate chicken and those potatoes. I haven't had pain like that since going gluten free so it had to be the potatoes. For sure not the chicken They were homestyle butter flavored by Betty Crocker any idea if they contain gluten? -

What does the gluten-free Mac n cheese do to you? Is it the cheese or the fact that its processed? Month 1 for me was just whole foods but then I started introducing gluten-free packaged foods and bam! Almost right back where I was except the pain. My husband noticed I am more "sluggish" after eating gluten-free foods and I get bloated too -

Same here. I can't eat the gluten free commercial products. All my symptoms came back when I introduced these products to my diet. Now I'm all messed up again after doing so well for a month. Whole foods is the best option. Cooked not raw
