  1. The rashes are clusters of red spots looks like when you pinch your skin. No pain The bruises don't hurt, I don't even know they are there until I see them usually in the shower. I take Advair for my asthma that's it and was on prednisone in June
  2. My iron is 82 and ferritin is 31 Kaiser considers this normal ranges even if its on the low side of normal. They don't test for vit K defiency either but the vein thing is weird that shouldn't be related to iron or vit k?
  3. I've been gluten free since diagnosis in July. The last month or so I've been getting unexplained bruising, not easy bruising, they literally come from nowhere. I have one the size of a baseball on the back of my leg. With this I get bulging veins in my arms and hands, and rashes appear that look like hickies. It looks like the blood coming to the surface...
  4. Ok I used what I had on hand and made it similar to yours. Olive oil and fresh garlic, shredded mozzerella and parm cheeses, cherry tomatoes, and bacon. Oh it was so good! And I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow yippee
  5. oh that sounds delish! well the Pamela's mix makes 2 crusts so I'm thinking a plain cheese for the kids and I think I'm going to try your recipe yum. I have cherry tomatoes, that will suffice. please post how to make a hamburger bun. I'm so tired of eating lettuce wrapped burgers!
  6. not sure what these are, they are not celiac tests? Anti Saccaromyces Antibody ... 32.1 neg is <20.1 Saccharomyces Cerevisiaw Ab Test 50.4 neg is <20.1 with negative biopsy taking 9 samples and you do not have the genes, your chances of having celiac are very slim
  7. pizza made with Pamela's mix, boring but I'm tired and it's just me and the kids tonight. and gluten free chocolate chip cookies for dessert
  8. thanks now I want bacon! bacon like a good pair of shoes......goes with everything haha
  9. I'm going to ask Santa Hubby for a new one for Chistmas. I tried to clean it but whenever I make something with it I get the gurgles after. I think I'm still getting a tiny bit of cc from it. Before diagnosis I used it all the time and I remember flour getting everywhere when I mixed with it.
  10. Good idea then she will get plenty of good replies and she can officially introduce herself
  11. Hi, your commenting on a post from 2011. Might want to start a new topic
  12. We have 3 restaurants in our little town that we go to. I've never gotten sick there. We got to know the staff at each one and they prepare my food special. They are family owned so maybe that's why. I'm thankful I can still have date night with my husband and not get sick! And for my hamburger fix its in n out protein style ;-)
  13. I use allergy journal
  14. What gets me is the savory stuff. Or the bagels, and especially sourdough bread. I have had hissy fits over sourdough bread.....oh how I miss it
  15. I don't have the option. I have celiac. But I have had 3 occasions in the past 2 weeks where it was so tempting to cheat. But I didn't because I want to heal. Every Thursday morning I attend a women's Bible study and I lead a table there. Every week I am faced with 2 round tables full of food. Everything from doughnuts to muffins and I sit with my bottle...
  16. I've been looking too and haven't been able to find one. I'm still drinking my Ensure complete everyday in the meantime
  17. Yes the oral prednisone would be out of your system. I had it by shot and in my iv while in the hospital so mine lasted longer in my body.
  18. Yep! Happened to me. Tested negative while on prednisone only to be diagnosed 2 months later ;-)
  19. Are you on oral steroids now or within the last 4 weeks? That could have interfered with testing
  20. The cramping usually shows up the next day for me. The first day of cramping is off and on all day long. It varies between rib cage pain, stabbing pain, and a soarness like I was punched in the gut. Brain fog, insomnia, grumpy, a rash will appear on my stomach and ankles 2-3 days after. Then my asthma will act up and stay that way for about a week.
  21. And that's why it's time to forgo your pcp and get some specialists involved. When I first developed asthma and celiac symptoms my pcp just kept prescribing antiobotics. After the 4th visit I asked to be referred to a pulmonary specialist. From there a GI specialist. Even now that I have osteopenia my pcp is not worried about it, yet my GI doctor is worried...
  22. I have these almost every day with my tea! So good
  23. Yes they are negative. But echoing what others have said, your thyroid needs to be addressed. That could be causing all your symptoms, including the shortness of breath from your previous posts.
