    I just did a Google search (make tracks for Celiacs) and several Celiac walking events came up. Didn't have time to read as I have to close down now but I noticed the only things I saw were on the west coast so I'll look it up later to see what's in the east coast.

    My biopsy is scheduled for Jan 17th but I'm not sure if I should find another GI to do it. I called last week to the current doc and asked for a full panel celiac disease blood test.     Well I'm just adding some info since with more research, I was able to find a link between genetic problems with folic acid and iron deficiency anemia. It usually occurs in persons over 65 but as young as mid-fifties. Well, I'm 42 but my shingles were misdiagnosed TWICE due to my young age so I don't trust statistics like that.     I color my hair at home with L'Oreal products. Manufacturer told me what I use is gluten-free. Also, they do make salon grade colors but I have no idea how many types or which ones may be safe.     I have unexplained anemia. After finding out that iron pills aren't doing the trick, I finally saw a GI last month and he runs some blood/stool tests.     Nope - I'm not gluten-free yet.
