    Good news/bad news--I have a zit inside my nose....doesn't show but hurts like heck Waiting fer me new bed to be delivered this morning The big phour-poster would eat up the bedroom here, so I found the prettiest antiqued matte finished brass iron bed wif glass finials.

    Just getting on and came to see if there was a date report. Will there be a second one? I know....seems lately it's not unusual at all to hear of another Celiac in conversation with others. And yes--WIH are all the psillies??? These unprecedented lapses in posting are a bit worrisome.....

    That's why I qualified my statement with "sensitive individuals". Most won't have any problems at all, but I like to give experience from a super sensitive point of view in case it applies. I wish someone had done that 5 years ago when I kept thinking I was nuts.

    Yes, but my point was that there can be enough of a residue on a washed and rinsed plate if the detergent or rinse agent used contains the offending ingredient to cause a reaction in sensitive individuals--be it Celiac (because in that case you are ingesting it) or allergy. I stand by that.

    I don't have a problem with Cascade, that's not to say you couldn't. I do believe that there could be enough residue from soaps to cause a reaction--not damage, as there is a difference. For instance, I am extremely sensitive to coconut and detergents made with coconut derivatives. I absolutely react to dishes washed in some of the more natural detergents...

    Hi Ruth, Con Agra will list any gluten on the label. I eat Orville Redenbacher popcorn quite frequently (the plain kernels, popped on the stove) and have not had a problem with them, and I'm very sensitive to cross contamination. Could you have a developing problem with corn or maybe the fiber is too much for you at this point?

    I have been checking for these each time I'm in Whole Foods and my local health food store without any luck, so I ordered a box of the plain flakes and a box of the Berry variety. The flakes are slightly sweet and crunchy--very tasty in my opinion. I will either snack on them or stir into yogurt, but I think they would hold up nicely in milk. Just...

    Caffeine applied topically helps with puffiness. You tend to see it used in under eye creams and such.

    I always check on tocopherols too--the last I checked, Burt's Bees was derived from soy.

    Looks like rain here too--but we need it. PeOter--I had me laptop phixed and just logged (hee! logged) onto the phorum wif it. My "new content" at phirst was empty, and now has 2 topics--this one and another. Is there sumphin I can do?
