    I agree--I think it's better that way. I never had a "last meal" either. I had been so sick for a while before my endoscopy that I wasn't eating much at all and what I did eat made me sick. The doctor saw something during the endoscopy and his orders when I left were to begin the gluten-free and lactose free diet--which I did and never looked back...

    So...just got home from Bed Bath and Beyond--wanted to get a bed skirt for The Bed. Had a lightening storm on the way home--came outta nowhere Heat lightening wif jagged lightening and pouring rain. Me hair looks like I stuck me phinger in an electrical socket

    I just wanted you to see it --not that I doubted your dad has MS but that he still may be at greater risk for Celiac. It never fails to amaze me how doctors dismiss it out of hand as much as they do.

    Some breads have milk in them as an ingredient, others don't. The Gluten Free Pantry French Bread Mix can be made with water instead of milk--that's the way I've always made it and it's very good.
