  1. You just have to want to! If you'd like a job, let us know what you'd like to do--anything that you enjoy. Andrea will then add you to the town list. Welcome
  2. I'm also a "Friends" fan. One of the funniest things I've ever seen was the one where Ross wore leather pants on a date. He was in the bathroom trying to get them back on--trying everything including shaking powder all over himself. jayhawkmom--Your picture is great! Glad you're sticking around Andrea--I'm going back now and look closer...
  3. CONGRATULATIONS!!! That's great, Ryan! I'm so happy for you. I know that leaving your family is going to be difficult. How did they take the news?
  4. Hi Robbin, I was thinking about you! It sounds like you're feeling more like yourself again--that's great I know what you mean about coming back from a bad stretch--you do look back and realize that you used to feel like that almost all the time. Sometimes I wonder how we all did it--those of us that were sick for years and years. Too...
  5. Hi You need to go to "Edit Avatar Settings"--the "Photo" setting is disabled.
  6. Oh Celia-- I had no idea you have been so sick! I wasn't on the computer at all last night--my husband had to turn off the power for a while to try and fix a broken outlet. I remember how you've been thinking it was the gluten from having guests living with you. It does make sense that it could be this water problem. I hope your doctor's office...
  7. Hi There was a whole thread about phyllo this past spring-- Open Original Shared Link
  8. That list IS a thread all by itself!
  9. Hi Evie Nice to see you! I don't like to iron, either and avoid it whenever possible! Definately PM me your email--I'll get the pictures out as soon as my son shows me how to get them from the camera to the computer!
  10. Oh, that's right Julie--Denver. Yes, you will be right in the center of it all. The whole thing with this guy is a little fishy--
  11. Hey Susan, Can Jane come and visit me? 10 weeks without wine--congrats! That's great
  12. It really is. It seems the older I get, the faster time goes by.
  13. I know. We were still living in Georgia then, and I remember reading about it in the paper right after it happened. I thought it was so sad--and it happened the night after Christmas.
  14. Aren't pants the most annoying thing!? I try and find a brand that fits, and Rachel it!!!
  15. Yea Chelsea-- I have no idea why he'd want to come back under those circumstances. I was just repeating what I had heard. Like I said, it'll be interesting to see what happens. For anyone interested, here's an article from today's New York Times-- Open Original Shared Link
  16. This morning on my way to the store I was listening to a local talk-radio station. The host was saying that he thought that the guy who was arrested only hinted at doing it--that this guy was in trouble in Tailand, and wanted to get back to the U.S. instead of facing the law over there. Supposedly, according to this radio host, he is using this situation...
  17. Susan-- Yep, the bedroom/bathroom is all finished! I took some pictures yesterday--as soon as my son helps me get them on the computer, I can get them to whoever wants to see them. You are probably right about eating the same things every day. I'm sensitive to so much, that I don't really have a lot to choose from! I do rotate meats, flip flop...
  18. I use potato starch because of my sensitivites to corn and grains. It works for thickening gravys, in a roux, and even in my German Potato Salad!
  19. I completely agree. I *know* that I have other sensitivites and that's why I can't even tolerate certain things made in a gluten-free facility. I told my "almond butter" story only because I thought people might be interested in a product that was suspect, and was then actually tested.
  20. Gosh Julie--I am learning that we have a lot in common! I also need to buy petite pants! I'm 5 foot 3, but my arms and legs are short--I'm more long-waisted. That's really all that I get from Chadwicks--they have so many choices in petite pants. For petite jeans, I always buy Lee Riders--their petite length fits me perfectly. I love ice skating!...
  21. This is right up my alley I love QVC, Land's End, LL Bean, Coldwater Creek, Chadwicks And MUSICALS! Love them! My all-time favorite is "The Music Man". We went up to New York City to see it on Broadway for our 25th anniversary. It was fantastic. When Craig Bierko (the man who played H. Hill) did his last performance, we went back and...
  22. I haven't even tried fast reply yet! And yep--I think it's the chocolate Thanks Andrea--it better not be the potatoes--I'd starve! I actually took the Immodium and went and got everything done fast! I'm back already I think you're right, Julie--it really helps to get other's takes on it. I know I should, and...
  23. I feel the need to post over here in the scientific section Here's the thing-- I think that I also am having a problem with chocolate. Or at least, something in the chocolate. I've cut out just about all other processed foods except my Dove Dark chocolate. Today, I had a lous-A morning. I needed to go out and run some errends and go to...
  24. Yes, Donna, I agree You sound like you're on pins and needles waiting for news of Greenland--I really hope the news is good, and that you hear something soon! Feel better I'm jealous! I would love someone to re-do my closet for me. I tend to keep everything--long after a sane person would toss them. The house sounds like it's really...
