  1. Please say a prayer for us Thanks bunches.

Laurie, sending up a prayer that you will get some answers and that your doctor will sign for the tests.

    What does lyme feel like?

Kassandra is right...it's different in everyone. I think that's why the symptoms list is soooo long. Not everyone gets all the symptoms, but those you described are amongst the most common I hear. I had EXTREME dizziness...not like the room spinning, but more like my brain was disconnected and floating. It was really, really bad last year, but now is much better. I get joint stiffness and achiness, and that seems to cycle...sometimes it's really bad for no apparent reason, and sometimes not so much.

My adrenals, neurotransmitters, etc. are TOTALLY messed up...I'm taking specific supplements to help them out, and it is helping, but I think until I get the lyme and all the other issues under control, I'll probably have to keep up the supplementation.

Insomnia is a bad one for me...along with weird dreams. I sleep, but sometimes I am aware of just barely being asleep if that makes any sense.

Lyme sucks. Stupid lyme!

I finally got my daughter's IGeneX test results back. They are:

Karen, I agree totally with Rachel...a very positive test! I know you were wishing it was different, but I'm glad you have an answer and now treatment can begin. Your daughter is luck in a way in that she will get treatment while she is young...it could have been like many of us who have had it for many years and didn't know it!

  2. Hey Joni,

I have a lot of issues with insomnia as well and have for years. My neurotransmitters (melatonin, seritonin, ephinephrine, noriphinephrine, etc.) are all off. Not sure exactly why (I have several health issues that can cause it), but we're supplementing specifically for that, and my sleep patterns have improved a little. I wake up at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and if I wake up at 4:00 I don't go back to sleep, but recently have been going back to sleep if I wake up before 3. My adrenal levels are also off (measured by saliva).

Up until a couple of weeks ago, I was taking about 200 mg of 5-HTP and about 12 mg of melatonin every night, and that still didn't help much. I even got some AmbienCR...that didn't help me at all, lol. Over-the-counter stuff like benedryl, sleep aids, tylenol PM etc, actually work the opposite on me...they tend to rev me up worse.

I don't have an answer for you, but gee I can sure emphathize!

  3. Would you just die if they only extend the current special?!?!?!? :o

I think I would. I haven't placed a real full sized order yet...all my stuff is small, mini or sample sizes. :) Look out when I'm ready for full sizes. :P

Okay...I have a question, that I bet Donna can answer

It's about blush. I'm wondering about Chit Chat, and how it compares to DVR and Photo Album. These are very important things you know  So is it pinker, plumier, more orange? The reviewers over at make-up alley really seem to love that one, so I might just have to try it (which will completely mess up my cart, btw... aahh...

Well, it is a little more peachy IMHO, but not too much so. It's such a nice subtle shade that it just looks like a nice little glow. I'm wearing it today, and I truly this this one might be my favorite that I've tried so far.

I was thinking the "shimmer" part of it would turn me off, I am not sure I need to sparkly shimmery cheeks  ??

I don't notice the shimmer once it's on, and in fact even in the jar it doesn't look that shimmery to me.

  4. Okay, so is ANYONE ELSE as excited as I AM about the big day tomorrow (the day many of us will be hitting "CHECKOUT")!!!

I figured out that with all the stuff in my cart at this point in time, there are only 5 shades of eye color and 5 shades of blush left that I HAVE to try! Of course, there are still several other products I want to try, but that's it for the minerals.

  5. Angie, welcome to the madness, lol! Yes, it's gluten free AND it's bismuth oxywhatevertheheckitis free. Most other mineral makeups have that bismuth thing in them, and I think that's what was making me break out. I HAVE had a breakout since using EM, but I think it was from Christmas when I ate all kinds of JUNK. I'd been wearing the makeup for 7 days before that with no breakouts, and I've been wearing it every day since Christmas with no new breakouts! I'm hoping you have the same experience!

You can't beat the free sample kits though...that's a great way to try it (and new colors) without investing a lot of money, and although the samples LOOK small, there's actually a lot of product in there.

  6. I agree Paula...it would be great if we could just feel good right away, lol. Unfortunately those stupid "bugs" create all kinds of toxins, both when they are alive and when they die, and that's what makes us feel worse before we get better. Stupid bugs!
  7. And, Donna, you should have one. :)

Honestly, it's hard to tell whether I've had benefit from it or not. I know our parakeet has, LOL. That's why I wanted to start detoxing with it.

I figure it probably can't hurt...if I refinance my condo maybe I'll get one, lol.

I was just reading on LN about nightmares and it reminded me! I had another nightmare last night!! :( I was being stabbed with a knife by these two men, but then I stabbed one back and KILLED him!:lol::o Ahhh, how awful!? I don't know what the deal is with this! <_<

:o I've had some violent ones, but not like this I think, lol. Mostly mine are just really really weird strange things.

I hate acupunture. I don't like needles at all. Some don't hurt, some do. The one he put in my labia and in my gums hurt though. Is someone else going to start to see Dr. M.? Dee was mentioning it but he says we can't talk about other patients so the

Is Dr. M the one who does LED? If so, eventually I will see him...maybe in a few months after I get my carpet done.

Hay, Lisa, I also wanted to congratulate you on the 3 days with no ice cream!!!

    Me too!

My response exactly!! That is not one you'd convince me to do for sure!!

Yeah, pretty safe to say THAT and ECOFFEE will never happen to this girl.

Tomorrow, weather permitting (we don't have a car, only a motorcycle, and there is quite a bit of snow out there today), I'll get my liver enzymes again. Sure hope they are improved.

OMGosh...this just makes me smile! I'm picturing you motering all over China on your motorcycle, lol.

Ok so for those of you who have had a colonoscopy can you tell me what to expect.

Mia, mine was pretty uneventful. The preparation was the worst part...you have to drink this stuff that is supposed to clean out your intestines. Mine didn't work right away, and I was getting nervous, but yowzer, once it started working, it worked REALLY well. :P When I got to the facility, they took me back to a little "pre-op" area, where they had me get into a hosptial gown, took some vital signs, asked me some questions and started an IV. They wheeled me into the procedure room, and the last thing I remember is getting on the table and having to count to whatever (can't remember cuz I didn't reach it, lol).

I tend to react to most anesthetics and sedatives, but I forgot to tell them that. They sometimes make me very nauseated, but this time, it wasn't too bad. I really didn't feel the nausea, but I was pretty groggy. It took me more than 30 minutes to wake up after I was "awake", lol. Good thing my mom was there because I don't remember a single thing about the recover other than they handed me pictures. My mom said I asked the nurse the same question 3 times, and to this day I don't know what the heck was so important that I had to ask 3 times...I just don't remember, lol.

Anyway, I was fine, and once I was awake they sent me home. You'll need someone to drive you or they won't release you. On the way home I was hungry and ate a Lara bar. I slept a lot once I got home, but I was able to take care of myself and do stuff.

The two other endoscopes I had, were even easier...mostly because I remembered to tell them about my reactions to sedatives, so I think they adjusted what they gave me and that made it less "groggy".

  8. I told 2 of my friends about this make up today. One told me that "nothing compared to BE" I laughed.

Yeah, I've used BE for YEARS! May not have ever changed if I hadn't started breaking out with it. But, it's at least as good (I think better, but I'm just saying for a non-cult person, lol) as BE but a whole lot less money. I think they have better colors and I LOVE that there's nothing but the minerals in it.

  9. Lol Donna! Does it allow Yahoo messenger? My dad's work used to have all kinds of firewalls but he was allowed to use Yahoo for some reason.

I am pretty fast, but I have friends who type like freakin' speedsters! :D

Hum, I don't know, lol. I've tried a few different chat rooms, but not Yahoo or MSN. Typing...I'm extra slow because I don't know all the shortcuts...I don't text, so I'd be typing out whole words, lol.

Here's something I found about parasites and insomnia:

"Parasites produce a great deal of ammonia as their waste product. Ammonia is their equivalent of urine and it is set free in our bodies by parasites in large amounts. Ammonia is very toxic, especially to the brain. I believe this causes insomnia and other sleep problems at night and anxiety by day."

Also I found out that wormwood (humaworm ingredient) can cause insomnia.

    Thanks Sherry, interesting.

We're almost the same, Donna. I will be too...toward the end of the year though.

You must be close to my good friend (the one that I always travel with, lol). I am 6 months older than she is and she never lets me forget it.

    Here's info about the laser

    Open Original Shared Link

Some here have used LED for detoxing .... I thought I'd try this laser, which is similar and something I can do at home. I thought that if I wanted to do more serious detoxing with lasers, then I could go to someone for the LED.

You're making me want one!!!! :P
