Omg...i Might Be On To Something

Recommended Posts

Carla,

I thought the same thing!:o:blink: I'm hoping she meant something else!

I got to thinking, isn't Spanish her first language? Maybe she meant lips. Labios is lips in Spanish. I'm sure that's it. But I guess she's signed off now.

Hay, Lisa, I also wanted to congratulate you on the 3 days with no ice cream!!!

Parasites in Patients with Malabsorption Syndrome:

Thanks for that info, very helpful.

I had thought wormwood had a narcotic effect in the body. When I was taking wormwood/black walnut complex I always felt really fatigued.

Hmm, fatigue sounds like toxins to me?? Both are pretty effective apparently on lots of stuff.

I haven't talked much about my laser, but I use it pretty regularly.

Thanks Carla. I am very interested, and will see if LED helps me at all. If it does, one like yours might be an option.

I will be doing ecoffees now 2 to 3 times a week. Doc wants me doing them.

lisa

Thanks for your update, Lisa. Sounds like more toxins are coming out, and hope the ecoffee helps.

labia? Isn't that a pretty personal area for acupuncture? :o

My response exactly!! That is not one you'd convince me to do for sure!!

Just got home this evening...

Gua sha bruising was so very much less and also lighter this time. So interesting, because she "scraped" just as hard as before. I'd like to try it once more before I leave.

Tomorrow, weather permitting (we don't have a car, only a motorcycle, and there is quite a bit of snow out there today), I'll get my liver enzymes again. Sure hope they are improved.

Quite fatigued today, but may be the sleep issues on the humaworm, plus a really exhausting schedule since the 28th. Hope I bounce back quick. I am worried that I haven't seen any more of the tapeworm, because I only saw an inch and a half or two back when I did the pineapple, pumpkin seed and garlic. I don't want it regrowing.

Chat room...I'd like the info too please. But I am hardly keeping up with this thread and my schedule is different while I am over here.

hey everyone-

Ok I'm due for a quick update-

still doing levaquin. Still kicking my butt- thought i was haveing alittle bit of a break but the last 2 days have been so rough.

My doctor and i talked and I am going to go in for a series of tests to try to see if we can get some insight into what is so off in my digestive system. A sonogram of my abdomen and pevis. And an endoscopy and possible colonoscopy. I have not had an endoscopy in a really long time and i actually hav enever had a colonoscopy.

Ok so for those of you who have had a colonoscopy can you tell me what to expect.

The problem is my insurance changed and i am trying to get all the tests covered and it is so frustrating. I was on the phone all day yesturday and had no luck so today i am preying to have better luck i just want to get things moving and get all these tests set up. I hate insurance companies!!!!!!!!!!

And, Donna, you should have one. :)

Honestly, it's hard to tell whether I've had benefit from it or not. I know our parakeet has, LOL. That's why I wanted to start detoxing with it.

I figure it probably can't hurt...if I refinance my condo maybe I'll get one, lol.

I was just reading on LN about nightmares and it reminded me! I had another nightmare last night!! :( I was being stabbed with a knife by these two men, but then I stabbed one back and KILLED him!:lol::o Ahhh, how awful!? I don't know what the deal is with this! <_<

:o I've had some violent ones, but not like this I think, lol. Mostly mine are just really really weird strange things.

I hate acupunture. I don't like needles at all. Some don't hurt, some do. The one he put in my labia and in my gums hurt though. Is someone else going to start to see Dr. M.? Dee was mentioning it but he says we can't talk about other patients so the

Is Dr. M the one who does LED? If so, eventually I will see him...maybe in a few months after I get my carpet done.

Hay, Lisa, I also wanted to congratulate you on the 3 days with no ice cream!!!

Me too!

My response exactly!! That is not one you'd convince me to do for sure!!

Yeah, pretty safe to say THAT and ECOFFEE will never happen to this girl.

Tomorrow, weather permitting (we don't have a car, only a motorcycle, and there is quite a bit of snow out there today), I'll get my liver enzymes again. Sure hope they are improved.

OMGosh...this just makes me smile! I'm picturing you motering all over China on your motorcycle, lol.

Ok so for those of you who have had a colonoscopy can you tell me what to expect.

Mia, mine was pretty uneventful. The preparation was the worst part...you have to drink this stuff that is supposed to clean out your intestines. Mine didn't work right away, and I was getting nervous, but yowzer, once it started working, it worked REALLY well. :P When I got to the facility, they took me back to a little "pre-op" area, where they had me get into a hosptial gown, took some vital signs, asked me some questions and started an IV. They wheeled me into the procedure room, and the last thing I remember is getting on the table and having to count to whatever (can't remember cuz I didn't reach it, lol).

I tend to react to most anesthetics and sedatives, but I forgot to tell them that. They sometimes make me very nauseated, but this time, it wasn't too bad. I really didn't feel the nausea, but I was pretty groggy. It took me more than 30 minutes to wake up after I was "awake", lol. Good thing my mom was there because I don't remember a single thing about the recover other than they handed me pictures. My mom said I asked the nurse the same question 3 times, and to this day I don't know what the heck was so important that I had to ask 3 times...I just don't remember, lol.

Anyway, I was fine, and once I was awake they sent me home. You'll need someone to drive you or they won't release you. On the way home I was hungry and ate a Lara bar. I slept a lot once I got home, but I was able to take care of myself and do stuff.

The two other endoscopes I had, were even easier...mostly because I remembered to tell them about my reactions to sedatives, so I think they adjusted what they gave me and that made it less "groggy".

Hey all,

Did you gals/guys listen to that biohealth radio show on candida? Well, they were talking about parasites for a while and they guy was saying that it can be dangerous to treat some parasites with herbs. There is one, he named specifically (can't remember now) that can get "pissed off" by herbs and unattach from the intestinal wall and travel to other organs. Then it causes something bad to happen (darn brain fog!). Anyway, sort of scared me!!!

He says its best to know exactly which ones you are dealing with and treat them accordingly. The only problem I foresee with that is that some don't show in testing.

Anyway, thought I would mention that!

Ok so for those of you who have had a colonoscopy can you tell me what to expect.

Mine was a non-event. Do the prep, go to the hospital, go to sleep, wake up, go home, take a nap.

Ask for Osmo-Prep as your prep method. Its pills you take instead of having to swallow that nasty liquid stuff. Its what I used. No cramping, minimal nausea (2nd round only), and no pending bum explosions. The urge to go is gentle and it works. The worse part for me was the all-liquids the day before. You might also want to eat lightly a couple of days before doing the liquid fast, as there'll be less stuff to move out.

Like Donna said, make sure to have transportation there and back. They won't let you drive after the procedure.

I'm pretty sure that's the same doctor. ;)

April,

I've read of parasite being in other places than the intestines. I believe Rachel has posted about one being in someone's brain. Don't know how it got there. Maybe she'll remember where she pulled that info from.

Carla,

That's great you are getting such good results with your laser, thanks for the update on it.

Lisa, sounds like you are progressing well with treatment.

That's really good you've been able to get off the ice cream for a few days now!

Keep us posted :)

MiaMia, so glad you popped in for an update.

I'm hoping these tests will shed some light/give clues about what possibly might be going on for you that they have been missing.

I also hope you get the insurance issues all figured out.

I'll be thinking of you .

Sherry, I did find info about wormwood having a narcotic, anaesthetic effect. BUT it also said it that it is highly effective against candida and if you have an overgrowth and you take it it will cause a herx, exhaustion being the main complaint.

So I guess it's safe to say candida is again an issue for me :(

About the parasites, they can be all over the body, in every organ.

You do have to be careful when doing a parasite cleanse, and best while under the care of a knowledgeable health care paractitioner IMO.

April...this is very true.

This is why I never experiment with treatments for killing bugs or moblizing metals without the help of experienced Dr.'s. It CAN be dangerous!!

I dont like to give advice as far as what to take for treating infections, chelating metals, etc.. since we are all very different...what works for one person may cause major problems for the next.

I'm not someone who thinks self diagnosing/treating is a good idea.

Specific herbs can work for specific parasites but if you have no idea if you even have parasites...or what type...you can end up causing more harm than good.

I know alot of us lost faith in Dr.'s at some point...but for these issues there ARE Dr.'s out there who know what they are doing.

When I had my Dr. test the Humaworm..it was not going to be effective against my parasites and my body was going to be under alot of stress taking it. Not to say that my body wont be under any stress when I get on the Alinia...but we do know that it will be effective.

I dont have problems experimenting with foods..or some supplements...and I sometimes even go overboard. When it comes to killing stuff I listen to the Dr.s because when I self diagnosed candida and started trying all these things to detox and fight candida...I know that I was causing myself more problems. The diet helped..the other stuff I was doing made me feel worse.

At that time I just felt like something wasnt right about what I was doing...and I didnt feel like I could continue blaming it on die-off. I had some scary symptoms and I'm pretty sure I was stressing the heck out of my body with all that I was doing.

If I remember correctly the program on gluten intolerance also talks alot about parasites.

To be honest, even tho i dont know for sure, i think it is just an scare tactic so u go and see them and not try to do it yourself. I really dont know how parasites can come out of hte colon unless there is a hole in your colon. Of ocurse i can be wrong but that is what i truely think.

No...its not a scare tactic....parasites can travel to all areas of the body! Some can even get into the brain.

Parasites can leave the gut via the leaky gut...just like foods pass through...parasites can pass through as well. They can set up house anywhere they like....usually the weaker parts of your body or areas which are storing alot of toxins.

Its not a good idea to chase them out of the gut to other organs.

Rachel,

What sort of testing did you undergo to detect the tapeworm? I think you did Art to find that? Did they test you for other parasites as well?

I am seeing a new doc tomorrow so I want to chat about this with him.

You are very lucky to have access to the good dr's and all the treatment protocols. I have not yet found anyone that does ART or LED. This new dr. I found is an MD that practices integrative medicine. He has studied environmental medecine, is certified through the American Board of Metal Toxicology and treats lyme and co-infections among many other issues. I hope he turns out to be knowledgable!!!

The ND I was seeing didn't know much about lyme. And my chiro does muscle testing, but mainly for food allergies and supplements. Nothing deeper than that.

But yes, I am on the same page now about the parasites! I won't try that humaworm again. I will go through proper testing first!

Paula,

I would think it would be a good idea to leave them alone until you find a dr to help treat you for it. I don't think it would be a good idea to leave them alone forever!!! :o

Thanks if you do know! :)

Rachel,

So is it sometimes best just to leave them alone if no test picks them up.

paula

Paula,

I'm not a fan of self diagnosing or self treating....only because I've seen many people get worse this way.

I knew I had a problem with mercury very early on in my illness but I did not know who to go to for help. I ordered one supplement to detox mercury online....I think I took only one pill and then never touched it again.

I had read alot of things about the danger of moving mercury around and I just felt like it was the wrong thing to do. Even though I had to wait 3 more years to get help...I dont regret not trying to tackle this on my own.

There will be other issues if someone has chronic candida...there will be other issues if someone has parasites. These things dont usually come without additional problems...I think its best to get a clear picture of all you're dealing with.

Infections like these occur when the immune system is weakened...if there are heavy metals involved and someone aggressively tries to kill off candida and parasites...those metals can overwhelm the system and cause worse damage.

To treat or not to treat is a personal choice...I'm just someone who prefers to wait for help from the Dr.'s and I think its the safest way to go.

Ok i have been researching a whole bunch of things and just looking around and i wanted to know if anyone has tried the lemon and olive oil cleanse for your liver and kidneys.

There are some scary things about parasites. I had to stop reading stuff cause i was really starting to freak out.

paula

kassandra,

Did you even find the answer.

Oh i know that is why am waiting to get all my test back before i start taking pills or anything. I figured the anti-candida diet was not going to do too much damge to me cause it was pretty much how i eat when im in my healthy mood of eating lol.

But i was just thinking outloud what if someone goes threw as many test as they can and in their hearts they feel theyhave parasites, but nothing is showing up either '1, the test are wrong 2/ the drs did the wrong test or 3. the dr had no idea what they were doing. Would it be doing this person more harm to leave them or try something to maybe get them out.

I know in 99 out of 100 cases they would show up on a test, but lets just pretend its less then that.

im gettng impatient waiting on my test results and my mind is jsut all over the place, so just ignore me when i dont make sense lol Ok im off to watch my kids play hockey.

Rachel,

What sort of testing did you undergo to detect the tapeworm? I think you did Art to find that? Did they test you for other parasites as well?

Yes...the tapeworm came up in my last ART session. I've had several stool tests for parasites but nothing ever showed up. Probably in all of those tests I was only tested for a handful of parasites...I know tapeworm wasnt one of them.

I dont believe that I *only* have a tapeworm. I think additional infecdtions will show up in ART as I continue treating. The tapeworm didnt show up until after I started chelation, fungal issues improved and Lyme/Babesia were addressed. Those were my biggest stressors....now the tapeworm shows up clearly as a big stressor.

With ART the body reveals things in layers so even if you have parasites...if you have bigger issues in front of that...parasites wont necessarily be identified until the body is less burdened.

Yes...they tested me for alot of organisms. Out of all that were tested it was the only the tapeworm that was found. The organisms are on slides. All of the slides were tested and only 2 were positive...they were both slides of the same organism...the beef tapeworm at two different stages of its lifestyle.

You are very lucky to have access to the good dr's and all the treatment protocols. I have not yet found anyone that does ART or LED.

If you can find a good ART practitioner I think you would feel alot less in the dark.

Anyone who's been here for awhile can tell you that I used to drive myself CRAZY with endless questions. I havent really done that since I started having ART. I think I've mellowed out. :)

I do feel very blessed. ART is taught by Dr. K....he's in Washington so I think thats alot to do with having more access to this type of testing on the west coast. If you want I can give you the contact info. of my Dr. in Washington and the contact info. of another ART practitioner (Dr. K.'s nurse)...one of them might be able to tell you of someone who might be in your area.

I'm in CA...if for some reason my Dr. didnt come to my area anymore...I wouldn't think twice of flying to Washington every few months to see her. I think its the most valuable tool I've had available to me.

This new dr. I found is an MD that practices integrative medicine. He has studied environmental medecine, is certified through the American Board of Metal Toxicology and treats lyme and co-infections among many other issues. I hope he turns out to be knowledgable!!!

April...this sounds really promising. :)

I'm excited for you!! I hope he knows his stuff....I think that since you've been learning about this stuff for awhile now...you'll be able to tell if he's the right Dr. for you. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! :)

I have no idea who is doing the ASYRA on the east coast- you could contact them to try to find out. I think it is www.asyra.com ? As for ART, I would contact biopure, or try www.neuraltherapy.com, and get the phone number and call and see. They used to have a provider list on their site, but it hasn't been updated for forever!

Sorry guys, I'm being lazy. :( I had already asked Dr. E about practitioners on the east coast. The two websites are what she gave me.
