  2. I know nothing about that stuff. But do know that yes that is probably why he is not talking. Very common in kids with ear problems. Have you tried any signs with him? That can help a ton and get him to communicate better. I used them with my daughter since I am fluent in ASL and thought it would help her communicate earlier. It did! And she talked early...
  3. I hope it goes well today!! I am so sorry!
  4. The anemia would also be celiac. Belle was anemic and she also had a chronic runny nose and sinus infections. She had leg aches and was not gaining weight and horrible bm issues. Don't worry I think they are just doing the cf test cause they have to rule it out.
  5. I t depends on where you have it done and if they need to send it out. I think it took a week for that one and it was done at the hospital. But I could tell by the looks on the nurses faces that it was ok. They put these things on their arms that look like watches so they will sweat. Belle did not like it! What other symptoms is she having? Belle really...
  6. The Gi tested my daughter for Cystic Fibrosis as well but she really didn't have any of the symptoms. The test came back fine as well as her celiac panel. I was told she was lactose intolerant. We stopped the dairy and got some improvement but not enough. We then tried gluten-free and she is doing great! Just try the diet it can't hurt! Good luck!
  7. That is awful! I agree! Go above him! And some people who are new to this are just so happy to see safe foods that they may not even look at the label! Good for you for standing up for it!

  12. My husband is not good at reading labels so I have set up a certain area in the freezer, fridge and cabinet for food me and my daughter. Well I came home from work and my husband mentioned she had a ice cream sandwich! What??? He gave her a toffuti cutie that I must have missed in the freezer!! She got a horrible messy bm and her runny nose came back...
  13. Belle was a very cranky baby, had explosive bms's that went up her back, spit up all of the time, she was anemic and did not sleep well at all, she also had bad rashes on her bum. She has always had messy bm's that were very foul smelling. She had a chronic runny nose and sinus infections for over a year! she was not gaining much weight and is just 28...

  15. Cool! Too bad that is not closer to me. But that is very neat that they did that! I have seen the diet used for children with Autism and they are usually Gluten-free Casein-free and yes it def helps them! They are said to have the leaky gut syndrome.
  16. My whole family has stomach issues as well. so does my husband and now my daughter. I have only been gluten-free for a month and I do miss stuff but then remember how much better I feel now! I will never put gluten in my mouth again for that reason! It must be hard feeling no different while eating gluten but just know that you are getting damage and your...

  18. Both my daughter and I tested neg but have had great results being gluten-free! I really don't care what the tests say as long as I feel good!
  19. I took advil so much for headaches that I became allergic! My throat and lips swelled up! I was dx'd with microscopic colitis at that time and was told that people with MC have problems with NSAIDS. So I just take Tylenol now!
