  1. The strange city shall remain a mystery. The WHO....I dunno (I swear )....perhaps it was my friend who took the pic. Yes, I will blame it on her. I actually didn't even notice the visible wee while posting last night . I guess posting a pic of a cheese toilet with the lid up is always a risk. You never know what will show up on such a thing...
  2. I didn't take the picture of the toilet, just for the record (but someone I know did )
  3. Mind if I pop in for a sec? I just have to share.... This is too strange..... It was found in a restroom in a restaurant....in a very strange city. the toilet that is painted like cheese  I thought I was seeing things, as it is quite cold where I am, and I believe hypothermia involves hallucinations (?).....
  4. I hear there are quite a few gluten-free bakeries popping up in LA. One of them is called The Sensitive Baker, and I think it's in Culver City. You should definitely go to Whole Foods (basically a health food store the size of a large Woolworths - with a huge gluten-free selection). It isn't uncommon to be on a "weird" special diet in that...
  5. ha thanks guys! I don't know why I couldn't seem to figure this out! I saw the words "barley sugar" on a brand that appeared to be imported from the UK, but it's all very confusing where I am (Czech Republic). Many of the labels are part English, part Czech...but don't really seem to make sense in either language (not that Czech would make sense to me...
  6. I've never really heard of barley sugar, or putting barley sugar in honey. Is this common in honey over here? Most of the labels I'm seeing aren't in English but I do see "with the taste of barley sugar" on some of them. I ended up buying honey in a little bear bottle that just says "vceli med" on the label (I suppose that means "honey" lol). Anyways...
  7. There's also a place called Bio Cafe, with at least 2 locations (maybe more...not sure). I was able to eat lunch there today. I got a lentil salad for about $4, which I think is kind of a lot for here (I guess you can get a large pizza for that price), but it's a good place. It's organic and they list ingredients of everything in Czech and English.
  8. Albio, Bio Market Vitek, Country Life and Rozmaryna are a few of the health food shops where you can get vegetarian, gluten-free food. It's quite easy if you have a kitchen. There are tons of fruit and vegetable stands all over the city, as well as gluten-free breads, pastas, beans, rice, lentils, even tons of rice and soy milk...basically everything you...
  9. Donna! What has happened to you????? Have you finally purchased everything??? I guess you'll have to wait for the new website to come out. Hopefully they will have lots of new fabulous things.
  10. I have a new roommate who doesn't seem to be the biggest fan of my make-up obsession. She caught me doing my eyes to go to the grocery store today and kind of looked at me like this ----> Then she rolled her eyes -----> LOL Oh she has noooooo idea what I'll put make-up on for....the gym, the grocery store, staying home hahaha this is...
  11. I haven't worn make-up in a week , but today I made up for it with a really great eye shadow combo Pots and Pans all over Snowflakes on outer half of lid Bedtime Story on inner half of lid In the Garden as liner Daydream blush Cherry Fizz lips
  12. We would have been devastated And really? (about Jason Castro). Go him! He's such a goofy, yet nice kid. I like him though (he's the one with the long dreds right? ).
  13. I ended up with about 20 cartons of eggs in my fridge last summer (long story), so I kind of know where you're coming from. If you can find some coconut flour, there's a chocolate cake recipe that uses 9 eggs. I think you can find it on Mercola's website. I've made it and it's good (I think I used real sugar instead of stevia, and turned it into...
  14. To answer my original question.... Tea. Just drink the tea. It is so good. Bulmer's is nice as well (cider) and can be found on tap in many places.
  15. You just missed my last post, but I know....I did. I'll have to come back and catch up with the mineral make-up madness soon (I keep thinking my laptop battery is about to die but it just keeps going and going.... )
  16. I just experienced something extremely horrifying. I thought I just lost half my EM collection. omg thank god I finally found it safe and sound. That was close one. I'm not caught up with the latest make-up chit chat (I LOVE that blush, btw )....um my computer's dying...will have to catch up with the cult later.
  17. If Intensive is too cakey and drying you might want to try original glo. You can also try applying the foundation wet to see if that makes a difference. So I think I love Ginger Peach and Ping Pong  Ginger Peach has the most gorgeous shiny sparkle and Ping Pong is a wonderful, pinkish shade. Tomorrow I think I'll try Mystic Night...
  18. I'm wearing In the Garden eye shadow today and I LOVE it! It's a nice smokey bronze that gives a subtle, exotic look when applied to the outer corners of the eyes. I'm also wearing Email Me blush. I think I like this. It's similar to Tea Time and probably only works for very fair skin. It's nice for days when you want a little bit of natural...
  19. I've been trying to take a pic of my eyes to show you all GBB, but it just isn't working. I have mixed feelings about this one. I think it has the potential to be one of those colors that I don't know about at first, but then love later. It's basically an aqua bluish shade. I wore it today with Floating Feathers and it just didn't really show...
  20. My order is here. I'm happy to report that no dhl delivery people were harmed in the process. My favorite colors so far are: Pink Pajamas gorgeous sparkly pink Floating Feathers  nice white shimmer and Diary  really beautiful shimmery and slightly complex lavender Cherry Fizz lip gloss is nice. Sort of brings...
  21. omgosh Donna you have magical skin! It seems like every shade of foundation works for you! How awesome! Thanks for the info on GBB (Glass Bottom Boat ). I'm excited to try that one now.
  22. You look great in your avatar WW340. That brush looks pretty good. The EM ones are so superior...you should get one from them too when they are back in stock. My order reached the dhl facility near my house YAY! Let the stalking of dhl vans begin!
  23. Congrats on a fantastic first order  I really like Tea Time and Daydream blushes. This is a good deal on Ecco Bella mascara (I think my health food store charges $14 for it): Open Original Shared Link
