  1. omg they have pearl MINT too? aaaahhhhh I forgot how fun this was!
  2. okay so I have some very important questions (because I'm too lazy to search the thread ): How awesome are the pearl concealers LOL? Should I order sunlight pearl and pick me up pink pearl? Has anyone tried pink lemonade or soccer practice lip gloss? I am SO excited about being able to order samples of any blush! :D :D
  3. I'm going to place an order tonight! (and it's currently "tonight" where I am ) Just thought I would announce that. LOL
  4. I almost bought a bag of "organic" gummy bears made with gelatin today. I didn't, because I don't like where the stuff comes from, but after reading this thread, I'm now really glad I didn't. The word has a pretty negative connotation though, despite its dictionary definition. Stuff like this can get tricky, however, when communicating through...
  5. It's not wrong to not want to go, but I honestly think you should go. It would be a good opportunity to learn how to cope in these types of situations....sort of like facing your fear type of thing... Bring some Redbridge and hotdogs and gluten-free hotdog buns and join in....you'll see eventually that it doesn't have to be too hard. ...
  6. Happy Birthday Rachel!
  7. I just want to say that you really shouldn't worry about dried beans and rice. If you are, you can always rinse them off before you cook, but generally, beans and rice are considered safe foods for celiacs.
  8. I found more gluten-free food in Prague today. In Flora (a mall right off the green metro line) there's a little bio (organic) food stand on the bottom floor. I was able to get a raw, vegetarian, gluten-free pizza for just 30 kc (about $2). The ingredients were listed in English as well as Czech, and it said gluten-free on the box it came in. So....
  9. It'll get easier. I no longer associate social situations with food, and I can enjoy watching other people eat gluteny foods without having any desire to eat those foods myself. Sounds strange, I know, but you'll likely get to that point sooner than you think.
  10. Schar products are sold in a lot of places. You can get them online at www.allergygrocer.com
  11. It's true...I'm not gonna lie LOL. I have serious foundation overuse issues.
  12. Wow, thanks. That's an awesome site. Okay so I think I watched the entire episode. Dose it end with Meredith standing outside in the lit up house thing while Derek goes to find Rose? I wasn't sure because my video kept randomly stopping and starting again.
  13. abc.com is mean. LOL It won't let me watch the episode from where I am. but oooh....there's actually a website called watchgreysanatomyonline.com . This might work....
  14. omg I must watch this episode! *trying desperately to find it online*
  15. You should try the Natural Reflections finishing powder. It doesn't have corn starch in it but gives a nice finish with an added boost of coverage
  16. Now that I'm over venting about it I kind of just think it's funny. Seriously, who eats pure chunks of gluten? LOL and how did I end up living with the one person who does? awesome. We can have our own little gluten-free club in the Czech Republic. LOL It is very easy to find a job here. It is not easy, however, to find a gluten-free...
  17. May I vent for a moment about a totally non-make-up related topic? Thanks, because I don't feel like starting a new thread. So, I just moved into a new apartment, and guess what is all over my kitchen? ... seriously....alllll over it...... ....Satan...sorry, I meant seitan (is that how you spell it?) Of all the foods a person might be able...
  18. No box could possibly ever say "gluten free" if they went by black and white standards. It would be legally and scientifically impossible.
  19. Did anybody watch the most recent episode? I found it online and watched most of it, but it stopped about two minutes before it was over, and now I can't get it to play again. So....how does it end? When it stopped, they had just found out that that woman's boyfriend wasn't actually a fantasy, and they were telling the boyfriend that the woman probably...
  20. Schar cookies taste like chalk. The bread is okay, but not exceptional. In terms of ordering products, I think ordering directly from the company website is best, if possible. It's usually cheaper that way, but if you can't find what you want, glutenfreemall.com (this website) is good too.
  21. I got mine too ( I am spending it in foreign lands ) Glad you got your order Cheri :D
  22. I'm gfsfcf and about 98.9% vegetarian LOL Take about a half hour once per week to make some high protein muffins with flax, nuts, fruit etc. Freeze them and eat them for breakfast for the entire week. You could do smoothies with hemp protein powder. I often eat brown rice and lentils for breakfast (lentils form a complete protein when combined with...
  23. Gosh, I just read a some of the comments on the news section of the site. Some of these people have serious emotional issues as far as their make-up is concerned . Anywho....I thought I'd mention that I'm quite enjoying Daydream blush these days. It's a bit like Waffle Cone, minus the sparkly stuff.
  24. I'm managing a gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, vegetarian diet in Prague just fine. Don't look to the guidebooks for help with places to eat though. There's a place called Bio Cafe with vegetarian, gluten-free options (they have ingredients listed in English). I eat the lentil salad, the apple salad...I'm pretty sure they have a bean salad that's...
  25. It's not more difficult to find gluten-free food in the US than it is in Australia. The main difference is that gluten-free food is a bit more mainstream in OZ. Our health food stores in the US (in the major cities at least) are much much much larger though and there is plenty of selection. If you stick to more organic health food type things, you...
