  1. Can't do it that way either. Turns everything into grey death shadow.
  2. omg....maybe. it's more bronzy than warmth...but in a nice way. it's great as an eyeshadow too. did i mention i love it? LOL (i hate cliche, however. it' all grey on me and i appear dead while wearing it. i know that's not the popular opinion of cliche though, so maybe it works for most people. )
  3. is soccer practice orangey at all? I love love lounge party, btw. I'm really fair but this totally works for me as a blush. Love it!
  4. I'm actually a bit bummed, b/c I was hoping the colors would be depicted more accurately on the new site. I know it's not possible to get them perfect since computer screens vary, but really...they're pretty off
  5. When I'm on the new website, I often click excitedly on a lovely creamy peachy shade of blush, only to see the words "new car smell" pop up. Then I go like this: (they so lie about that color...seriously, why does it look so pretty online, yet so horrid in reality? )
  6. Julie - I know our fellow wise cult members have already given you an answer (and you already knew the answer anyway ), but yes...you absolutely need samba and starry. I like starry eyed for an everyday eyeliner. It has that dark, yet still natural thing going on that EM does so well. Samba lessons is a bit richer, and somehow goes on thicker for...
  7. drive by (sorry): I'm wearing well being as a liner today, mainly b/c I accidently picked it up and was too lazy to dig for something else. I really like it though. Not too purple, not too dark - great liner (Just thought I'd share )
  8. I like Ranchos in North Park. Cilantros Live also has quite a few options (expensive vegan food - but good). Ki's in Cardiff is also one of my favorites (the veggie burger is made with millet and is gluten-free - I usually get the veggie burger tacos).
  9. I know...it used to take over a week for it to get to me in California, so I'm pretty excited. I was really expecting to wait a few weeks. Okay...I haven't actually worn any of the colors yet but... Lounge Party - love it! beautiful sparkly bronzer or really nice brown eye shadow (and a lifetime supply of it ) Shortcake and Walkee Talkee...
  10. Hi Julie! I am great! Do you know why? ....because...it only took my make-up six days to get from Texas to my doorstep in Prague (and I didn't have to pay a customs fee), and I didn't even pay for any fancy shipping either. :D :D There are dhl vans here....now I won't be tempted to start stalking them. I am sooo excited! Will come back...
  11. When I was in Australia, the Green & Blacks chocolate (exact same brand and product) had wheat clearly listed as an ingredient. I would assume the ingredients are different in the US since technically US products now must also clearly list wheat, but who knows.....
  12. Thai Kitchen products might be an option for you.
  13. The food I eat now is sooooo much better than the food I ate pre-gluten-free. It's more flavorful, more varied and a lot healthier too. Just keep experimenting with fresh ingredients that you haven't tried before, and don't be determined to find a version of bread that's exactly as you remember it. www.glutenfreegirl.com might inspire you if you haven...
  14. ah okay so it's broken. I thought maybe I just couldn't find it.
  15. Does anybody know about the shipment tracking numbers? Do we not get them anymore? I really want to know exactly which part of the ocean my make-up is near when. LOL Donna - Your post has me all enthused. LOL. Yay for good lip gloss! ...and don't you LOVE the full size concealers?
  16. Do they still give us shipment tracking numbers? I can't find mine...
  17. (that just sentence cracked me up lol) Sorry you had an acne flare though. That happens to me all the time. Definitely seems to be related to food.
  18. You guys...I might have to turn to the dark side for a while and buy a non EM foundation to tide me over while I wait for my order to arrive. Any brand suggestions?
  19. Corn Thins are really useful. I know they're available everywhere over there. You can dip them in hummus, make sandwiches with them or eat them with tuna as kaycee suggested. You could bring your food in an insulated lunch bag to keep things cold and pack salads with meats, tuna or beans for protein, fruit with nut butters, Leda bars, veggies with...
  20. LOL Okay....I absolutely cannot do spreadsheets, but I might be able to handle some sort of drawer-related organizational system Will have to try that soon. I'd venture to guess that if you did have pink lemonade on your spreadsheet, your trusty spreadsheet would tell you that it's a few shades too light. Just a guess though.
  21. Well I can tell you that the flat top brush is FAR superior to the baby kabuki. I LOVE the flat top . It is very soft and luxurious. I'll be getting the long handled kabuki with my next order, so I can't really say anything about that yet. I like the angled brush blush, but I actually don't use it very often (I still use my BE brushes for blush ) ...
  22. Okay so it turns out it was basing the shipping on my old US address - I just switched it to my Prague address and now dhl is $602. I could freaking fly to Texas and pick it up myself for that price  I think I'll chose first class priority mail LOL
  23. I put in the coupon code and got a 9 dollar discount. Awesome! Now for the next big decision....shipping. I have the option of getting my make-up in two days for only $101 dollars  There's also $9 shipping option, and dhl ground claims it can get to me in three days for $24. Can dhl ground get to the Czech Republic in three days for ...
  24. Okay...another important question: can anyone compare ivory foundation to multi-tasking? I'm guessing ivory is a bit lighter?
