  1. Yeah, I'm with you guys. I was all excited about the proposed new EU distribution center but, um, they can't even seem to launch a new website. I won't get my hopes up.
  2.     !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys are too funny! T h a n k s e v e r y o n e <---- the colors representing a small portion of my eye shadow collection, and perhaps an even smaller portion of Donna's
  3. I would die if I had to figure out which foundation to wear with which blush. and omg this is OT but there's a new Mango at celiac.com. Looks like the person joined today. This could get confusing.
  4. What a bummer about the tests Hopefully you are discovering some things though. I'm not caught up with the EM world either. Must spend more time thinking about make-up
  5. You can watch them all on the American Idol website too.
  6. Canadian bacon - (you can get healthier, nitrite-free canadian bacon at health food stores). You can make sandwiches with it (use gluten-free bread or corn thins) quinoa flakes with nuts, dried fruit and rice milk (hot cereal) fruit with nut butter smoothies (add some flax or some nut butter for protein) or....any kind of healthy food that she...
  7. Hi Donna! I'm glad you are no longer talking to yourself! Laura - Soft Bronzer is reeeaaallly light. I doubt it's too dark for any skin tone. OMG did they discontinue Chit Chat? That is one of my favorites, and I only have a small sample size of it. I'm really liking Waffle Cone these days though. and....Where is the new...
  8. Yeah.... corporate, industrialized organics aren't the best these days. There's a book called The Omnivore's Dilemma that touches on the story behind General Mills' acquisition of Cascadian Farms. It's a really crazy story. I couldn't believe it when I read it.
  9. They did come out with a new eye shadow brush recently, if that's the one you guys are talking about. They replaced the angled brow brush with a more typical shaped eye brush.
  10. There are quite a few asymptomatic celiacs. They get tested because their family members have the disease. I believe it's called silent celiac disease.
  11. I had some Dr. Schar products this weekend. Milly cookies = chalk. Yuck. The Duo bread isn't bad, but not fabulous. I do enjoy the fact that gluten-free and organic food items can be purchased in the drug stores.
  12. The flat top brush I have is amaaaaaaazzzing. I instantaneously ditched all of my BE brushes because of it. I hear the old EM brushes lack greatness, however. Perhaps they still occasionally send those out.
  13. Earth Balance has soy protein in it. Multiple other countries sell margarine made with just olive oil, palm oil, sea salt and lemon juice. I don't know why this doesn't exist in the US.
  14. Some people like Annie's. Whole Foods carries a few different options. I think DeBoles makes one too.
  15. I was able to eat out on Friday night at a place called Radost FX. Open Original Shared Link It's a vegetarian place. I was able to get a plate of vegetables with hummus (basically the hummus plate minus the pita). I've also found a really good rice milk called Isola Bio Rice Drink. I think it's imported from Italy. There is a...
  16. I don't know if this helps but.... I am currently in a foreign country where I don't understand the very complicated language here. When I grocery shop, I only buy things that allow me to identify all of the ingredients without having to read the label. I can sometimes make out a couple words on the label (such as voda - water and sul - salt) but...
  17. It could have been gluten, but mexican food often causes bloating (actually it almost always causes bloating) even for people who can tolerate all of those foods. If you can't tolerate dairy, keep in mind that guacamole can sometimes contain dairy (a really great little authentic, local hole-in-the wall taco shop near my house in San Diego adds straight...
  18. Ah, yes. I forgot about that kabuki.....the kabuki made of needles and straw Nope, I no longer have it. It has been officially retired.
  19. If you have a health food store nearby, they should have a selection of fair trade, organic chocolate. It's usually pure, high quality stuff, and in most cases you just need to read the label to see if it's safe.
  20. I loooove the flat top    I've never tried the kabuki, but I REALLY want one!
  21. My silk dust isn't gritty either. I think complaining about the grittiness of the silk dust is just kind of the cool thing to do over at the EM site. Some people have even said they use it as a face scrub.
  22. good swatches and photos Open Original Shared Link
  23. brown rice, lentils, beans, flax, quinoa, raw fruits and veggies. Add some natural, whole foods and make sure you get plenty of vegetables. Perky's Nutty Flax cereal might be a good choice for you, instead of the rice based stuff. You could always do smoothies for breakfast and add in some ground flax meal.
