    I am wondering how those of you who made your entire house gluten-free approached this with your other children. We have four children ages 6 1/2, 4(Celiac), 2 1/2 and 11 months.     hannahsue01.... Our 4 year old complains of knee pain when glutened. That was a huge complaint he had (among a few others) before going gluten free as well. I am probably not a lot of help...and a little late to respond to your post...Hope your daughter is feeling better now!!

    Thanks to you all! I think that being away from home has me very frazzled! This is our first Thanksgiving post Celiac and that has me nervous anyway. Then add the baby doing whatever it is that he is doing...just more than I could bear Tuesday!! Thanks for your help!! Happy Holidays!

    I don't usually post here, but my son has something going on (again) and I am confused. He has been gluten free since his dx in Jan 06. He got glutened in the last few days and has, as of this evening developed these small bumps...some look like a blister or tiny trail of blisters and some look like a blackhead.     Your situation sounds familiar to ours. Our son was originally dx'ed(by a GI) with chronic d, then by an ER doc with chronic C..(very long story) when we finally got to our "on the ball" GI, we asked about the conflicting dx's. She said that he actually was both. Because the Celiac was causing him to not completely empty his bowels when he would go...then...

I love how people who go to school and spend THOUSANDS of dollars to get all of this knowledge can be so ignorant and thoughtless sometimes!     I have been asked by our 4 yo to make him a cheesecake for Thanksgiving. I need a recipe though...He wants a New York Style one. I have got the crust thing figured out, but not the filling.     Does anyone know if Super bubble bubble gum is gluten free? I can not find anything on the Hershey's website that even admits they are the manufacturer of this...they are.     We had/have that same problem with 3 of our kiddos. We found out that it was the lining that was in the diapers...both the Huggies and Luvs. Pampers...the more expensive in that brand) was the only one that didn't cause that.
