  1. some celiac patients. or rather, has some patience with celiacs! good luck! So glad you were able to read those results yourself. I recall 10 years ago being tested for lupus and ra and the doc saying we might follow up in aa few months looking at other issues.... and then he left the practice and never followed up. Always wondered if celiac would...
  2. My husband had a perfectly fine colonoscopy.... Then a few years later had perforated diverticulitis and was a few hours from death when they did the surgery. Those diverticuli can pop up fast!
  3. Oh wow, that's kind of great if it's that simple! Good luck to you!!!!
  4. Thank you Ironic! This sounds exactly like what I have! Read up on it and says it can last longer in some cases, so it sounds like me. I already have chronic pelvic pain that came from nerve damage during my partial hysterectomy in 2008, so I'm surprised no doc related to that issued dx me. Thanks so very much. Victoria
  5. Hi George! ive been following this and I'm dying to know how you are doing? Please keep us updated. victoria
  6. It feels like it's directly on the bone. I think I usually control it with meds so I'm not sure if it could last, on its own without meds, for only twenty minutes. So curious as to what you are thinking!
  7. I've had c weekly until I came up with a balance of drinking enough water and eating enough veggies. I tried to take fiber supplements and didn't help me. I have not tried what Ennis suggests but I would certainly try it if my method stops working. Took me years to come up with the perfect balance for my (annoying) body! When I am stupid and don't do the...
  8. This is very exciting! Thank you!
  9. I have used milk of magnesia when I've been glutened to relieve the c and the brick heavy feeling. Take at night with a large glass of water. Usually the next day I go, but then the following day I don't because I've gone so much! But I don't feel bad. fyi it's gluten-free and I take the full capful as I have what they call "slow transit times" so when...
  10. Sorry, can't recall if the frequency of it went down with going gluten-free. So many things in my life changed then!
  11. Ok so I've had this issue as far back as I can recall. Used to happen quite often, once or twice per week. Now it's once or twice per month. Doctors never ever have a clue, and I've been to a bunch, including physical therapy for many months. So it's pain right on/in my tailbone. The kind of pain that makes me cry it hurts so much. I can sense it coming on...
  12. I totally forgot this, but I used to get these same symptoms! It's been since 2008 that I've been gluten-free! So personally those symptoms went away eventually with the gluten-free diet. I had these problems, especially the belly button area pain, since I was a child. I also have a hernia there that they say is not a problem. But I'd feel like an imaginary...
  13. Wow, I'm really happy for you and your son! And thanks for the article too!
  14. I used to, for many years.
  15. Doritos are my go-to snack food a couple times a month. Personally I have not had any issues with them. Thank goodness! I love them dearly and they make me not quite so depressed.
  16. Thank you for your reply! I'm starting to see a trend of using supplements! I totally understand what you mean about script after useless script. Especially if it's the type of script that you have to ease off slowly or cause yourself horrible symptoms. When I am finally settled in a new job (looking for one now) I hope I have enough money to...
  17. Thank you! Do you get the vitamins from Amazon or local?
  18. So I was wondering if anyone avoids or eats certain foods because of unhealthy mental health? I was originally dx with ppd which I went on lexapro for many years. Then since my parents died recently I was diagnosed with bipolar. I'm not sure if I really have it though or if the depression is just from bad things happening in my life. I went off lexapro, and...
  19. I see! Wow, that sounds really restrictive. But you sound incredibly healthy. Thank you for the info. I will look to see if you've posted any of these great sounding recipes!
  20. Did paleo make you lose weight? I have an extra 10 pounds I'd like to drop. I find being gluten-free is hard enough, but see friends posting paleo on FB showing yummy looking food.
  21. What an amazing article! Thank you!
