  1. Anyone have good suggestions for work lunches you can keep in a lunchbox in the car? I have a summer job that I have no home base for besides my car, so I need suggestions different from my normal plan of attack. Looking for things that are gluten free only, I have no other issues.
  2. Don't pay any attention to that reply. By the way I am so sorry you are suffering so much. I have no answers for you at all but hopefully someone will! When is the next time you see your doctor?
  3. Omg just saw this again, but on Facebook. Wow there are 596 comments on it, most of which are completely crazy. I almost forgot that most people know nothing about celiac disease., yet they pretend they do and shame us.
  4. I used to completely flip out on gluten. I would pick a fight with my loved ones. I would know I was doing it but be unable to stop. I think it was my first symptom something was wrong with me. Only way to deal with it for myself was to not ingest gluten, as even as an adult, I could not control it. That said, it was particular types of gluten, such as anything...

  8. What a shame for hose of you who eat there.
  9. Weird, I tried to copy and paste it, and it thinks it's a celiac.com link?
  10. I thought acids like lemon juice and cranberry juice helped flush the bacteria out of the body, thus lessening bladder and kidney infections? At least that's what my pcp told me when I used to get a few per year?
  11. I agree. Haven't been able to get this off my mind.
  12. Not the sort of thing I came here to read today....
  13. So exciting! Thanks for doing this!
  14. At least in Caucasian Irish people!
  15. Did Chef Patterson ever come back and tell us what happened? So dying to know what their experience was.
  16. Did Chef Patterson ever return to reply or offer all his aforementioned tips?
  17. I went off dairy for a couple years, then went back onto it slowly. Happily able to eat chees and yogurt again, although I'm now partial to almond milk everything else. Luckily there's lots of non cow dairy options out there!
  18. I'm in the Chapel Hill area and wondering if there are any others in North Carolina?
  19. I've got severe sleep apnea, over 60 episodes an hour. Love my Cpap. Gluten hasn't had anything to do with it in my case. (I know this is a very old thread. Posting for new people.)
  20. Leaky brain is a thing, for real. Things cross the blood brain barrier that are normally too large to do so. I had a naturopathic doctor test mine with GABA.
  21. I dunno, but maybe he didn't see it or remember it? I thought it was cute back then!
  22. Didn't you post this originally back on April 1?
