  1. quick questions re: chlorella... what is the recommended dosage per day (and how often per day) and what form should I get for my sister: tablet or capsule? I don't think liquid chlorella is going to be all that easy to come by so we'll probably go with tablet or capsule... after talking to a friend who has taken it and doing a quick search on the net...
  2. so if I have lyme, I guess I'm gonna have to keep track of my cycle from now on I read a reply of yours a few pages back about the load lowering, hence feeling better between herxes as you progress... makes sense to me... hope you pass that threshold soon and start feeling better between herxes lol... it's just odd to me when people...
  3. thanks for the info about chlorella... assuming my sister's doctors don't have any objections to her using it, my sister should be trying it within the next couple weeks... and thanks for the credit otherwise, but I'm no different than a number of other people in this thread as well as people across the country generally speaking as the prominence of...
  4. I picked georgetown to come out of that bracket but I think UNC's probably gonna beat them... jeff green's been playing great ball down the stretch for the hoyas and they don't have many flaws in their game on offense or defense but I think UNC's gonna have a little too much for them... and I figure with this prediction, if either team wins, I should be covered...
  5. thanks.. as a sidenote, you (and anyone else referring to me as clark) can just call me charlie... it's just in my username for the play on words on superman...
  6. I have a question regarding the usage of chlorella: my sister has beyond severe constipation... her system doesn't really work much on its own anymore... she's on I believe 3 or 4 constipation medications currently and may need surgery soon... with her RSD, surgery is never a recommended option and the surgeries being considered have other possible negative...
  7. how do you initiate a herx? aren't you on antibiotics all the time so what would cause a herx one day and not another day? or is it that you rotate antibiotics every so often or change the dosage and that's what triggers a herx?
  8. I haven't had the redbridge yet but I did try Bard's Tale a few months ago... I think they're both made from sorghum.. either way, the Bard's Tale was very good and is all over the place in my state (NJ) but I don't know how its distribution is nationwide... but I think the redbridge is cheaper anyway... and apparently it's even on tap at some bars in ny...
  9. the buckeyes barely escaped with a W.. but that's what the tourney's about.. gotta finish the deal... Xavier got a little tentative down the stretch and missed some key free throws... and gotta give credit to Lewis or whoever hit that big 3 from the top of the key to tie the game at the end of regulation.. texas A&M vs. Memphis should be a good game...
  10. I make a post 2 days ago and there's already almost 10 pages of posts since then... you all are out of control... good to hear.. I checked out his website real fast the other day and read through his account of what he went through getting diagnosed.. I think the one thing that differs from myself to him (and you too, as far as I know) is that...
  11. I take it that Scott is someone who was (and still is) a patient and is now working in the medical field helping with treatment? I've seen you throw his name around before but don't know what his position is... either way, good to hear that someone was in a similar situation to you and a lot of us and has made significant improvement... my mom's trying...
  12. do you know specifically why the flu vaccine is recommended for your daughter? is it recommended specifically for her heart condition or just recommended generally because your daughter is between the age of 6 months and 5 years, which the CDC classifies as a recommended group... I don't know what kind of heart murmur your daughter has (both myself and my...
  13. I assume you guys are talking about the PF Changs in the Trop right? (tropicana casino)... don't know if there are multiple PF changs in AC... I go down to the trop often and plan to try eating there once I get all these food intolerances in check..
  14. as psawyer said, phenylalinine has nothing to do with gluten, it just indicates that aspartame is in the product... all sugar free products will have some type of substitute whether it's aspartame, sucralose, xylitol, etc. do you drink diet soda or crystal light? if you do, they likely have aspartame as well and if you don't have a similar reaction to...
  15. duke's just not that good this year... they played above themselves for a stretch early in conference play but the talent just isn't there for the most part... and one of the few players on the team with talent, demarcus nelson, has been an underachiever this year.. not to take anything away from VCU cause Mayner's a gamer but this is the worst duke team...
  16. a little too similar.. I also picked georgetown to advance to the final game... identical final 4 actually I feel it's only fair to let you know that I don't think I've picked the winner in years... I was much better at this when I was a kid (I picked the winner 7 straight years until AZ won)... so you can blame me if your final 4 teams start getting...
  17. I'm a big march madness fan... I like the NFL over college hoops but this is the best sports weekend of the year in my opinion.. and I actually picked kansas to win it all this year in my bracket... I've never really liked kansas or kentucky (call it that east coast bias) but kansas is playing great ball recently, played in an underrated big 12 that has...
  18. Open Original Shared Link at the bottom of the page there's links to the official documentation for each state regarding vaccination policies, exemptions, etc.
  19. for all I know this may have already been discussed previously in this thread, but I found out some interesting information on lyme disease, or more specifically, the treatment of chronic or persistent lyme disease... a few nights ago, I met a girl who was diagnosed with lyme disease years ago after being symptomatic for a year or 2 prior to diagnosis......
  20. cycler, which brand of gefilte fish is egg-free? don't know if I've ever heard anyone saying they miss gefilte fish that much... but I'm only half-jewish so maybe that's why I don't quite share your affinity for it ... as for a brand that is gluten-free, I think one brand is Rokeach... I was eating some last year after going gluten-free but...
  21. in regards to vaccinations, I believe 48 states have religious exemptions and about 18 or so states also have philosophical exemptions... I can't find the site now but there's an official site linked by the CDC that has each state's official documentation in regards to exemption policies and requirements for vaccinations... I'll try and find it and post it...
  22. just a question before I order the lyme tests from Igenex: it's the IGG and IGM western blots that I should get and I can get them separately without having to order a panel containing these tests, right? I'd assume so and am planning on ordering the 2 western blots tomorrow also, from reading through the Igenex website, it seems to me (and I think is...
  23. I just checked my lyme test results from labcorp and all it says is that I came up less than X... it doesn't specify what the actual value was.. as for Igenex, I've heard about the lab from a couple sources not on the net previously but just didn't pursue getting tested as I got caught up in other things (gluten-free diet, food allergies, candida, etc...
  24. thanks for the replies I got about 10 pages back... haven't had a chance to respond lately but I've skimmed most of the pages.. a few questions for those of you with lyme or familiar with it... is ordering the Igenex test the best way for me to go about getting tested? I was tested for lyme (among a lot of other things) through Labcorp a year ago but...
  25. and miss out on all that fun? the thing that I'm trying to figure out now, well, at least one thing I'm trying to figure out... is that if the root cause of my medical issues is an underlying toxicity, then why wouldn't I have been sicker through my high school to early college years? I had a lot of medical problems as a kid, 3 cases of severe diarrhea...
