  1. Carla!! Wickedness! Now it's set in stone. I have thought, oh what a cute couple Ooops, not the right couple Based on all the avatars on this board I get the impression there are a whole lotta cats running around out there in this world with celiac It seems cats are the most popular avatar subject......
  2. Well, I'm just joking around of course, but it is true you get that image of someone in your head based on their avatar. It's just great to see you Susie Q well enough to be laughing and smiling and enjoying that glass of wine
  3. Well, I've seen LOTS of pictures of Susie Q, and you are right, in each and every one she is holding a glass of wine. You should see the rock climbing ones, it's quite a skill to climb AND carry the glass of wine without spilling a drop.
  4. I love this site for that very feature! I don't use it very often though because I just don't do any grocery shopping on-line. I wish more sites would borrow this feature though, it would make it so much easier to be able to sift through items according to ingredients that need to be avoided.
  5. Actually, it would be safe to say the same about Charleton Heston.
  6. Well whatever you did it worked! Let me know how it goes with the oregano caps, I'm curious to see if that makes a difference. A cold front moved through this weekend, and the higher elevations even got snow. I was pretty stiff and sore, in my joints especially, yesterday. I wonder why this is? I had always been told that when fungal infections...
  7. Good point. Shoulders aren't usually involved in what we are discussing here. Bev? Yikes, a snake! I had a little tiny baby one slither out of the grass and down the driveway towards me a few months ago. Scared me so much I freaked out and jumped up, screamed, and ran away. That must have been a sight for the neighbors. ...
  8. Thanks for this post, I am going to look for these products next time I take a trip to my WF. I like the sound of them being a little bit cheaper
  9. Happy (belated) Birthday! ! Pamela's Chocolate Cake mix iced with chocolate frosting is to die for, even my gluten eating family request this for birthdays. You CAN have your cake, a big slice, and EAT it too!
  10. I thought you meant they said it on tv....and I imagined a play by play by the guys calling the game. Hence the
  11. I took a look at your presentation and I think it's great!! This really was such a good concept and you did an awesome job with it. The only thing I would add is casein to the top allergy lists, but you noted that in the preseantation you were going to add that. So, wonderful job! I give it an A++++
  12. Sherry, omg I think you might be on to something! (thread motto) A very promising discovery, great detective work. I hope it makes a difference for you Carla, sorry about all the pain you are dealing with/have been dealing with. That's just not fair. I am hoping it will improve and pass as you progress with your treatment. In...
  13. Great link, thanks for posting. We'll have to sift through everything for the gluten-free items, but worth it to find great gluten-free soy-free treats.
  14. What exactly are they teaching on Sunday Night Football?? ....and in what context was that term used, my imagination is running wild.....
  15. Ok, ok, I'll see your delirium and silliness and raise you a loopy and a slightly off-balance: According to dictionary.com, cack (n) - a soft-soled, heelless shoe for infants. So I can only deduce that a "Cackatoo" is a cockatoo that wears baby booties.
  16. Or shall we say bird-ness That is the FUNNIEST thing when dogs do that, they're like, "WHAT WAS THAT???" And they run off trying to get away from whatever it was..... You ARE soooo busted !!! It's all right, you get a brain-fog pass on this one . I did go back and add that question a couple secs after...
  17. I am one of two, so it was rather boring...and quiet....growing up. I had to come up with imaginary brothers and sisters for a while when I was really young Carla, that's the same link I posted! Does your bird dance like that? Alex, very funny video. I love those live bloopers, they try to get themselves out of it but the more they talk...
  18. I saw this on my local news too, a little alarming.
  19. OMG, this is hysterical! Go to this link and watch the video of Snowball dancing: Open Original Shared Link
  20. Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't come across as I was implying that it is not a good idea for others to take it...I should have clarified. I just have issues with my throat, esophagus, and all the way down the tissue is really irritated and I have lots of scar tissue- sometimes just food burns depending on if I have a flare up, so for me I was thinking I should...
  21. Rachel, I for one appreciate the info you posted and I find it helpful to me personally. Thank you Donna That must be a part of your maladapted milieu I know for me many different strains of candida come up.
  22. I second this suggestion. I also think getting them in contact with other kids their age, either through this website or a local group, who are going through the same thing would be very helpful- for support, sharing info and coping strategies, etc. Check out the Teenagers section. They need to know that they aren't alone, and that there are many...
  23. Jason, I completely relate to this, it took me a long time to drag out all of my health issues and bring special diet to the table (literally ) with my bf because I worried how it would be received. I think a lot of the time we underestimate people, and most are compassionate and understanding. If they aren't then that isn't really the kind of...
