  1. It gets me frustrated and angry too Patti I don't understand why the health profession ignores or denies the types of health issues we are all dealing with here. I have seen it even in the alternative world, which is even more depresing.....I told one acupuncturist I don't have much to choose from to eat and his reply was to eat more frequently throughout...
  2. Good morning! I'm up, but it's a little later here, and I'm generally a morning person. Times a wastin Rachel, it is really early for you I have the Igenex link, bookmarked it after rinne posted it. Here is is again for anyone who doesn't want to go back : Open Original Shared Link I have been looking the site over,...
  3. Karen, I was like "heiny" doesn't start with an "A" I got it, a little slow, but I got it Richard, glad you got her in and they ran some tests, I hope everything comes back fine.
  4. I've also had a relevation today, really building over the last couple weeks...but something significant clicked with me today. I just remembered I was forced to get another measles vaccination (immunization ?) before I entered college. A few months after that was the begining of the end for me, or what has been this long neverending journey (nightmare...
  5. OMG Rachel, you must be thinking what is Julie talking about I went to track down some links with info on Bioset for Donna, and any others interested, and I realized that maybe you were confused by my posts. Frankly I am confused I was going to have Bioset done by my acupuncturist, only no electronic mechanism used, just kinisiology or muscle...
  6. Hi rinne Congratulations on your diagnosis! I am very happy for you, know it will be challenging ahead as you try to heal but what a wonderful feeling you know what you are healing from, and there is light at the end of the tunnel. Hi Laura, look forward ot your post this weekend. Andrea, great advice on looking into some of these other companies...
  7. I know, so frustrating. Anymore it seems we have to just make our own fries, and other foods, so we know what goes into them.
  8. I was going to say I would take her in and have everything checked out, glad you are going. Please keep us posted, will have her in my thoughts Good to see you Morgan Yay, the B Girls! What kind of mischief are you guys up to this morning Sorry Liz you are so frustrated. I know its not what you...
  9. So true Nikki And yet we scarf it all up, so excited just to have bread, or cake, or rolls! It's the gluten-free mentality, we think, "who cares if it fall apart, crumbling into a million tiny pieces, as long as it tastes good....."
  10. Congrats on the new job Carrie! Good luck with the move
  11. These sound really good. I would have to make them dairy free too. I might try to use rice milk as the condensed milk substitute, simmer it with sugar and see if it thickens up a little bit? Also, I wonder if you could do a "nut" crust? Take ground nuts and butter, and maybe a little rice flour, and sugar and blend to a crumb mixture and then pat down...
  12. Patti I forgot about Desmond running naked through the forrest, er, what do you call that on an island? The bush? With his hair blowing in the wind. That was kinda funny. And, ooh, he can see the future Creepy. I thought Boone looked thinner because of his longer hair do?
  13. Thanks Richard And yes Susie, even I get the blues But the sun came up and today is another day......right? Nikki, I think the cake looks great!! Congrats on gluten-free cake success, glad your son liked it
  14. I thought the same thing, Mike (?) definitely looked familiar, like we have seen him before. Not sure about the torture for next week
  15. Last night was a little creepy Locke not being able to talk and his "vision" Do we know if he ended up shooting the undercover cop?
  16. These sound really good Pilgrim South, thanks for posting the recipe. I copied it and might try them for the holiday season, using walnuts sound good for the fall too.
  17. Hi Ryan! That is what I always make for Thanksgiving, corn bread stuffing/dressing. I don't usually stuff the turkey so I make it in a casarole dish as a side dressing. I just take a traditional corn bread recipe and substitute out the flour, it seems to me corn bread is very forgiving so I have done all kinds of flour substitutions from corn flour...
  18. Good morning all! I am against the flu shot, but that is just my personal stance on it. For "C" Susie, drinking the juice of half a lemon squeezed in warm/hot water usually works for me, or eating watermelon (high water content) gets things moving.
  19. I will be there!!! A little over an hour for me. I will not look at the spoilers, I don't want to be............. spoiled Did you say Boone?? Oh my......
  20. OMG, I completely feel the same way, stuck in what feels like the same prison............Where is the teary emoticon? Feeling emotional today.
  21. Ok, thanks Carla
  22. Laura, I'm sorry about your challenging day This might be a dumb question, but what is NIH? Hope you got some rest Simply V, thanks for that other link. All very interesting.
  23. I think I might shed a tear.... A tear of joy and happiness and omg it's about time Rachel, I couldn't be happier for you . FINALLY you are getting answers and help to turn this nightmare all around. Great scientificness, I knew about the cadida and mercury connection, that when you have one you have the other. My naturopath even said...
  24. Rachel, awesome to hear about your appointment! I think it sounds like a great plan, to deal with some of the intolerances that are burdening your system in order for you to be able to tolerate the foods and supplements and etc in order for your body to heal from the Lyme, mercury, etc.. I'm glad you were impressed by the "machine" I don't understand...
  25. That's a girl ...and how did that go??? You look BEAUTIMOUS and GORGIFUL in your picture, good to see smiles on your face!!! Donna, sounds like you had a really good appt yesterday, how exciting for you. The set-up of the center, with all different specialties, is neat. I think you are in good hands, and I hope they get to the bottom...
