  1. Shoot, I didn't get on before Kass left. Hope everything goes well I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner but Bach Flower Rescue Remedy would have been good for you to take leading up to this, it's made of flower essences. Flower essences address emotional imbalances. Rescue Remedy is specific for dealing with stressful events.
  2. Andrea, I hope Mitch gets home soon Yay Ami, glad you got your Humaworm! Carla, you should get a kick back for all the purchases that have been made since you posted about it Kristina, sounds like you had a productive appt with your new GI and that you are on your way to getting some answers.
  3. Andrea I worked miracles, my 8" tree truned into 3ft I got it on sale! It's not prelit however, but I just string my own lights on it. I thought it was too good of a price to pass up so I got two. Donna, you probably got the better deal with the lights! Less work Kass, does your friend have C? I had another thought that...
  4. Great pics Kass, very F E S T I V E!!!!! Ok, I lied. I don't have an 8" tree. For some reason when you first posted that I was like, yeah I have the same thing! I have a 3 ft tree. My brain is just not with it I got it for $8 however so maybe that was what I was thinking I do not know about the blood in the stool. If they ruled...
  5. What I have always understood to be true is if you have a yeast infection showing up with thrush or vaginally for example, that it is already systemic ...but that could be wrong.... Beef broth is an excellent blood builder. It actually tastes pretty good, and might keep you from passing out. Yes, Susie Q frequents the...
  6. Hmm, this is a tough one. What about a soup? I was thinking a bean soup then I saw your dad has problems with dried beans, maybe a vegetable soup, corn chowder, butternut squash soup? What about a pasta primavera entree, with rice pasta and the sauteed vegetables everyone can tolerate with a non-tomato sauce like olive oil and herbs?
  7. Jin, WE are putting it there. The following is not for the faint of heart.....BUT it's in our urine (naturally in women) and in higher concentrations in women who are taking birth control pills or hormone therapy. And antidepressants, and other drugs, are in the urine of the people taking them. Here is a good informative link: Open Original Shared...
  8. Carla, I can't get your link to work, it links to the lyme disease thread Welcome borst Kass, I have a little Target tree too! I got it a couple years ago, it's so cute AND the best part is it's not too much to mangae to decorate. Have fun decorating yours and I look forward to seeing the pictures (hopefully it will get your mind off...
  9. Donna, forgot to mention about your appt, sounds like it was a good one today The parsley you brought up reminded me of something, I read an article about eating parsley and all the other fresh green herbs like basil and etc in salads for their anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. I might start adding these to my salads I just wanted...
  10. Kass, I'll try to find my results and let you know. Rachel, I'm glad things went well and you are feeling ok (other than the needles being an issue ) I don't know what it is about needles, but I am the same way. My body does not like them in me at all, it's like get that out of my vein!! I have terrible veins too, chelation especially...
  11. I want a very small simple wedding myself, so maybe my input isn't impartial I have always thought I was a strange girl because everyone else I know had/wants a huge wedding with all the bells and whistles. I personally think you should do what feels right for you and your fiance, follow your heart, whatever that may be.
  12. OMG! Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I saw this headline and busted out laughing! The gig is up they know about the yeti... Open Original Shared Link
  13. Nixie, miamia has done the ionic foot baths. There might have been a few other but I can't recall...I have thought about trying one myself, I have a friend who used to do them and she said she felt great afterwards, really invigorated, refreshed, and full of energy. I need to get me some of that Where is the befuddled, confused, brain fog emoticon...
  14. Rachel, how did your chelation go (that was yesterday right?) melmak, if you are having a lot of gas after starting up the probiotic I think that's a pretty strong indication that there is gut dysbiosis. I always worked up really slowly with my probiotics, I used a powder formula so it was easy to start off with like 1/8 tsp and see how I did with that...
  15. Now I'm ungry for pie, Carla look what you started I like pecan too, oh and peach cobbler, cherry...the list could go on and on. My grandma was actually a pie baker. Sherry, that's a good idea about the hot packs. See you when you return. April, interesting info about our bodies hanging on to everything through the winter. Makes sense...
  16. I aso like Food For Life Brown Rice Tortillas. I think it's a mixed bag, some people love them, some people hate them, but they work for me. I throw them into the oven for 30 or so seconds each side to get warm and this makes them pliable like cruelshoes mentioned. I have been able to use these for anything I would have used regular flour tortillas...
  17. I like apple struesel and banana cream Ami, I'm glad you got through this difficult day. Take it easy and keep us posted how you are doing.
  18. melmak, my gyno has always said probiotics can also be applied vaginally, or yogurt packs. nyxie, sorry about your dr. issues. April, the early puberty is alarming. I have to agree with what everyone else said about the hormones in the milk and meat, estrogens in plastic, but also it's just estrogens in general EVERYWHERE. One of my practitioners...
  19. Nikki, this sounds wonderful! Just a couple of questions, what is castor sugar? And do you know what 50g of cornmeal converts to? p.s. love the new avatar
  20. Ami, you've been through so much, you are in my thoughts and I hope tomorrow goes well. My mom had a D&C years ago, she came through it fine. I think they used to do these more in the past then they do now, but I'm not sure? Take some deep breaths, keep focusing on those positive thoughts and it will be over soon. Carla, I do lots of yoga....
  21. Hi my peep Rachel, good to see you as well. Are you enjoying your vacation? Great poem Jin. A couple additional thoughts to add on dairy, it increases mucus production and inflammation in the body which creates an environment for all the beasties to thrive in. Also celiacs, or anyone with a damaged intestinal lining, is unable to digest...
  22. Good Morning Baltimore!! Sorry, I have songs stuck in my head from watching Hairspray the last 2 days with my nieces I am so behind with posts..... welcome to everyone new. PLEASE jump right in any time!! It sounds like everyone's Thanksgiving was a mixed bag, some were wonderful, some not so much. I am so sorry for those of you who...
  23. This looks so good. What is Oats Only Muffin Mix?
  24. This isn't pot pie with a crust, but a shepherds pie. I saw this on the Food Network over the weekend and it looked so good. I'm going to make it after Thanksgiving with leftovers: Open Original Shared Link
