    Yes, both my children wear medic alert bracelets. They have other medical conditions (diabetes, hyothyroid, stinging insect allergy) besides the celiac.     Pizzirilli crackers are really good - my kids like them in soup, cheese and crackers etc. Tomato soup by "Imagine" is gluten-free and the kids both like it. My kids dont like the rice crackers much

    Go with the decision you feel best about. Each family is individual. We chose to do the biopsy because both children had other autoimmune conditions and especially with our son who is diabetic, we needed to know for sure that he was celiac because it impacts his diabetes mangement.     For your upset stomach following the meal... I know of other celiacs that react to the pea flour in some of the kinnickinnick products. Do you get upset stomach form peas / pea flour? Check on the sausages too.

    I live in a rural area outside of Calgary, I shop a lot at Planet Organic and Community natural foods.
