  1. I'll have to talk to my doctor and see what he thinks. She was the only child on "cillan" when she was little....for 3 ear infections. She didn't have any malabsorption according to enterolab. Perfectly fine, very low.
  2. Rachel, I've been reading but not posting much. Your theories make sense to me. Still don't answer Talitha's intolerances......I'm leaning toward mercury with her though....thimerosal/my amalgams.
  3. Donna, Sorry about your teeth and throat. Hopefully neither will last long. It took over a year for my root canal to stop hurting but it only hurt when I had hot or cold food.
  4. Welcome Monica.
  5. Gentleheart, If I remember correctly it has the little air bubbles. That may be from the gel (?). I haven't made it into cheese for so long. I use it without the gel for mac and cheese (combined with the other cheese sauce). I don't think you blended it too long or anything. Kbabe, That sounds good too. I may have to try it that way sometime...
  6. Boy Carla! That's come up quick. Can't wait for an update.
  7. I hope my posts weren't perceived as attacking anyone. I'm just presenting what NVIC has. Whether to vaccinate is a personal decision.
  8. Oh, I forgot. Don't know if I told you to check out Barbara Kerr's site. I think it is tasteofhealth.com. She has chron's and I believe her story is on the site.
  9. Chelsea! Glad to see you and thanks for the update. I'm glad you got a firm diagnosis and can head toward recovery/remission. I'm excited for you and culinary school. Hoping you'll keep us updated with that as well.
  10. We've probably got about 4 inches today. It just stopped snowing, although we have another small band of precip that might hit us. Since I homeschool, I don't keep up with whether school is open or not. Hubby has to go to work no matter what so he's out manuevering around in this (he's a truck driver, local). We are north of Vancouver about 1/2 hour...
  11. Jestgar, This article has reference to adverse reactions from the shot. A link is included to get the full report at the bottom of the letter. Here's another excerpt from July 28 that talks about a few women that had babies with birth defects who had got the shot prior to conception. Whether the shot caused them, who knows for sure.
  12. Thanks for the update on your appointment Donna. I forget. Did you tell them about bioset? I'll be curious to see how the candida does before they test.
  13. I had to go back and look at it. Nice picture!
  14. They make the silly strawberry with and without fluoride so you want to make sure you're buying the without fluoride. I've goofed on that. I buy that for the children but buy other TOM for us adults. Hi Chelsea!!!! Good to see you......you're looking a little on the pale side though.
  15. Mango, That sail trip doesn't sound like fun at all. Although is does sound like a pretty area.
  16. Rachel, Are you home today? Your posting at unusual times for a workday.
  17. Rachel, I had assumed Mango was talking about when you post a quote, not quoting someone here. Maybe I assumed wrong. I love mushrooms too, haven't had them for awhile though. I know they are high in glutamates but don't know if they turn to free glutamates. Seth has enough problems without me adding to them. I didn't know what truffle...
  18. You used to have to hit quote at the beginning and ending of the quote I believe. Now you can just hit the wrap in quote button and paste your message in between them. Poor fish.
  19. I've kept the flax meal. Maybe you could make it with and then without to see what the difference is, both to how you react and how it tastes.
  20. I love M's new avatar as well. Those truffle hunting pigs are a good idea Bev. I'm not the queen of conversation so rely on everyone else to post so I can comment. In between cutting down on computer time.
  21. Yep, we need to get our fun, sense of humor and relaxing in here. I don't have a clue what kind of creature could be used to keep the fungi away.
  22. The following is a post from Rita Kam that was accidentaly done as a report.
  23. Yep, it's good. You can use any flour combo. I use Annalise Roberts flour combo since I have some mixed already. I just added some amaranth but haven't tried that loaf yet.
  24. Claire, I'm sorry about the super messed up dining experience you had last night. That's another reason we stay home. Eating out is at my mom's occasionally since she's a great cook. Just have to make sure she's not serving anything with gluten. She did good for Christmas though.
  25. I like that math too! Will look forward to updates from Kathryn's appointment in March. Great attitude your son has. Now if everyone could have that attitude and just have fun.
