  1. Mitch loves your emoticon choice. Ok, I'm confused too. The 4th is only 2 weeks away. I may keep you busier next week after I get back from seeing my dad. Don't have any idea how I'm going to feel after seeing him and returning home. I suppose it's possible that you could have a bunch of co-infections that can mimic lyme, but you can't excuse...
  2. Here's something I found. This one doesn't seem to pertain as much, but it's interesting. Open Original Shared Link Article below:
  3. This is a very interesting line of discussion. I've run past articles before about petting zoos and all the germs/bacteria etc. that kids can get on their hands and how they can get sick. Wonder if that would apply to adults. I love animals too Rachel.
  4. That reminds me of a wildlife park/petting zoo in Oregon that has deer and goats running free. I wonder if the captive deer would be different since they aren't out in the wild. Hubby and I went down there 8 years ago. Hmmmm.
  5. After reading further I see you got this fixed. We'll miss you when you are gone. Have much fun though. I would pretty much think the reaction between the "metals" triggered the gluten intolerance as well as lyme swinging into action. I would think the presence of deer in a place would make it highly likely to be a tick breeding...
  6. Thank you Carrie. My husband was looking for apple crisp. I will definately try this.
  7. If I remember correctly I have read other posts before that have mentioned this same thing.
  8. My first comment you answered below. Been there done that.....phone call. Love it. Deer are sooooo cute. Just wish they didn't carry those ticks around everywhere. Bummer. I don't know if the ticks would jump that far. Didn't you say the bite was on your shoulder? If the deer were around the area so much then the larvae...
  9. Ok, it makes more sense now. I guess another question would be could something else have made a bite mark and rash, etc. You've been on antibiotics since then haven't you. Maybe that helped and you need to address coinfections. I'll be waiting for your appointment on the 4th as well.
  10. What about the bioset that said you have lyme and the 19 coinfections. Wouldn't that be specific? Or could that be some other bacteria? What about the tick bite?
  11. Shai, That sounds like a sound plan. I agree, it's the family that's important not the eating. I'm glad you live close enough to still be able to go over and visit.
  12. Donna, I am so glad to hear that your sinus problems got better going gluten/casein free. I would have hated to be on meds that much. Hugs and
  13. Loribelle, They do give a detailed description of what various things mean. Sometimes it's easier to just ask and people like me like to know results of various people anyway, so I don't mind.
  14. Flax is one of the things on the list my doctor gave me for Mitch. It is a natural stool softener. Somehow I think he'd listed flax oil, but it's all pretty much the same.
  15. That naturopath (was that what she was) was definately place in your path to help you. I shudder to think where you'd be now if you'd had that script filled. Back at you.
  16. I posed this same question and line of thought to Laura yesterday in a pm. We are thinking alike.
  17. Armetta, Hope you bounce back quickly. Enjoy your soak and nap and I hope you feel refreshed after both.
  18. Hope you have a successful and refreshing time over at your parents.
  19. Your med reaction sounds scary. I think you have a good plan and excercise is supposed to help us feel better. If excercise can help with anger, stress releaser etc I would think it would have a soothing effect for you. You're doing good Patti. Look at how far you've come already.
  20. Good to see you Ryan, although briefly. I've been wondering if you were still with us. We'll be here when you can return.
  21. Accidentally reported. Question from eileen.e.wells
  22. So are you going to make life easy for us and post the recipe or link us to it.
  23. I hear you. My dad will probably be the same way. He has prostate cancer that has traveled. If he were willing to go gluten and dairy free he would probably be able to slow this thing down and maybe even heal enough to start fighting it. Sadly, I don't think he will. I also need to copy over some of the info you guys gave on lyme possibilities...
  24. Yikes! on the anti-depressants. I found a reference to epilepsy being helped by the gluten free diet and dogtorj also mentions it so I typed up an email for my pastor's wife. I'm so hoping and praying she'll look into it.
  25. Do you have a built in stereo system with speakers through the house or an actual stereo in various rooms of the house? I don't think you ever put up a picture of your puppy. Weren't you going to do that? How long ago was this? I don't remember if I commented on this or not.
