  1. Please keep us posted as you can Bree.
  2. Nikki, That cake looks real good, glad it tasted good as well. Hi to everyone else. I forget if I wanted to say anything about anything. One of THOSE days again with my daughter.
  3. Patti, I scanned a picture of Shadow for you to see. It would seem from Allo's photo that they were pretty similar.
  4. Patti, I personally feel that Mitch's intolerance to eggs being so high is because of all the shots the military mandates. Dairy was extremely high for him to considering we had been dairy free for 2 months and before that we had dairy for 2-3 months. Lots of shots have gelatin in them......oh, they also have bovine serum, but don't know which ones...
  5. Donna, You're not going to like my post.... According to a Dr. Blaylock article.
  6. I started showing around 5 months with my first and by the time of the third, more like 2-3 months.
  7. He's mentioned as a researcher for genes for celiac.
  8. I don't no why they wouldn't be ok. I have never seen anything to the contrary.
  9. Congratulations on your new job Carrie. We'll look for you to get back on when you can.
  10. That's not such a bad thing you know.
  11. Um, brainfog excuse won't fly with you.....I can think of another fog though.
  12. I don't believe Dr. Fine is scamming anybody. He has set his cut off limits at a point where people have reported feeling better going gluten free. I, personally, believe that he has found other genes that cause damage and respond to the gluten free diet. Who knows, someday, maybe they'll be labeled as celiac genes as well.
  13. I don't know many tummies that would be able to handle all that.
  14. Donna, I wouldn't recommend the flu shot. Can't find my shot info right now..... Lot's of mercury...your body doesn't need anymore to antagonize your situation. Dave, Somehow I don't picture you as shy. Of course you have been using this forum dropping lots of hints.
  15. Laura, I'm sorry it was such an exhausting and emotional day for you. Get some rest and hopefully tomorrow will be better. That's great that your hubby can come back for a few days again and that your mom is there to help you out. Are you putting in full days?
  16. Yes. My husband has 2 celiac genes are they are not active (or they are sleeping). He was tested through enterolab just like the rest of us were.
  17. Dr. Fine is mentioned in Dangerous Grains. Other than that....what Carla said. He's not published his work yet. Some doctors do accept his tests though.
  18. I'll be waiting for the ice cream story too. Sounds like you may be onto something Carla. (with the ice cream)
  19. Rachel, Sounds like your appointment went better than we dreamed. Lots of info that will take some time to assimilate. I'm glad that you will be able to start working with this lady and your doctor to start to get better. We'll be cyber holding your hand as you go. I think Dave seems like a great guy too. It's easier to be outgoing...
  20. Susan, Sounds great! Sod and job.
  21. I don't eat anything dairy anymore. Neither does the rest of the family. We were reading stuff on dogtorj.net and weren't too interested in staying with it, despite the allergy/intolerances. We don't have down/feather products for the most part. Have to check a couple things. Glad to know that we don't have to give up chicken or beef.....don't...
  22. Congratulations! Gluten free wedding cake. That's great!
  23. Yes, Laura, get some rest and post when you can.
  24. Laura, I see you......have any news for us?
  25. From what I understand, the gluten sensitive genes are not the recognized celiac genes but people with active sensitivities still respond favorably to the gluten free diet and they still cause damage in various ways.
