  1. Welcome back Laura. I hope you had a nice, relaxing time. I'm glad you got things worked out. I would be highly annoyed as well. You'll have to call this weekend and tell me all about it.......especially since you'll have it recorded......of course you could email if you wanted to type it all up.
  2. Dr. nixed the raw milk.....said to eat more leafy greens as that is the best source. I tried goat milk once and hated it. I'm intolerant to it too. Great news about Chloes abx being a short course. Hopefully she'll be over the worst of the herxing soon. You're in remission? Did I read that right? I hope the lower dose meds help you...
  3. Good for you. Glad you've found someone near by. Hope you can get the abx worked out with your doctor.
  4. Awwww Rachel. I'm sorry about the stress at work. That is not good. I only kept the above part of the quote because it sounds like what happens when you get more toxic. With all the cookies you've been having, along with the stress at work......it's not a good thing. I would tend to believe that the cookies increased your intolerance level again...
  5. Pre gluten free and a couple years ago our food budget was around 500-600.....now we spend 1100-1200 and that leaves us short. We eat a lot of meat which is a lot of the expense. It's going to have to stay that way until we finish treatments for everything, including food sensitivities. We are intolerant to beans so that leaves those out. We have many...
  6. Nope, no peels on these.......not that I remember anyway. Seems my hubby always would eat them without but I forget.......I may be getting them confused with papayas. I'm a lot of help aren't I?
  7. Very nice pic Jin! Jury duty! I got summoned once when I was 3 hours away....at college. I obviously couldn't go.....then my mom got called. I had to go during the last few years I was working. Sat in on a trial but the parties came to an agreement so it was over after lunch break. I've been called two other times. Young children and being...
  8. How in the world do you manage this! Since we/ve gone back to a meat diet plus eating organic our food budget has gone up dramatically. We are still under the $1600 a month that my husband heard (on the radio) that a typical family of four spends. If we had the funds for $1600 we'd be able to eat how we are supposed to.
  9. We have insurance subsidized by the state for lower income families. We have to pay for all our treatments out of pocket as the doctors we see aren't in the "network". We keep the insurance for possible emergencies that will require hospitalization. Eventually as the boys can't be covered anymore, we'll have to pay a lot more or get kicked off. I've told...
  10. Thanks Rachel. I'm so worried about her. I'm glad she's going. As much fun as hospitals aren't she really needs some help.

If you are talking about what I think you are then go to Options (on the right side of screen under new topic). It will have display (I forget the exact name)....choose Standard. That should fix it.
  12. We had testing done by them. You need to eliminate all foods that came back reactive for at least 2 weeks and then add them back in one at a time, say every week. My husband came back off the charts with blueberry. We didn't think it was a problem until we elminated it and challenged it. I've recently done the ASYRA test for foods for my two sons...
  13. Lisa, YOU NEED TO GET TO THE HOSPITAL NOW FOR IV NUTRITION AND REHYDRATION!!! PLEASE GO.
  14. Vegenaise is good but I believe it has soy in it.
  15. She was last on on Friday afternoon. Hope she pops back on here today. Maybe she got away for the weekend. I know how that goes too.....not that we take vacations though. I'm sorry you can't go. We are looking into raw milk, or should I say we will be once we get the ok from Dr. E. She had written continue gluten-free/cf on Talitha's...
  16. Have you had testing done through an alternative doctor for metal toxicity? Mercury toxicity, lyme and celiac have a lot of things in common. It would be good to start to rule things out. If you are interested in further testing pm me. My food budget is not what we need it to be either. We can't eat legumes right now but should be able to...
  17. Thanks for letting us know Lisa is ok. Maybe you should cut back on those cookies........just a little. Have fun with the trampoline. I'd vote for the applesauce. It's getting closer.

    I'm so sorry Susie.
  19. Allergies can change (come and go) over time, but once a celiac always a celiac. It can not be outgrown.....gluten free is for life.
  20. Isn't that great when you can talk to the doctor! I'm so glad he was able to talk to you and set your mind at ease. It's great that you are feeling better too......step by step. I've seen Julie reading a couple days ago. Haven't seen the others, but Rinne was on a couple days ago, last time I checked. I'm glad it's over.....didn...
  21. T needs to build up to 7 drops 3x daily of the Comp Asyra; M & S both take one for foods....M 5 drops 3x daily and S 3 drops 3x daily. M needs to build up to 10 drops 3x daily and S needs to build up to 3 drops 3x daily. The boys aren't on anything else yet since we didn't have an ART session to test everything. I don't know about the alcohol in...
  22. Thanks Rachel. I'll figure out Micah's drops to coincide ending the day before the next ART/ASYRA session. I've finally printed out a calendar (weekly) to write all the drop dosages on so I know what in the world I'm doing. Have fun in the garden and stay away from those ticks! The children saw 2 deer up on the hill right behind...
  23. Thanks Rachel, I read that article but it seems easier to understand the way you broke it up. Question for those of you taking drops that had to be built up gradually. I'm trying to figure out our ASYRA drop schedule. Most times I can give 2 days per each one drop increase. With Micah if I want to have him over this series of drops before...
  24. Hugs Claire...Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
