  1. Since gluten causes an inflammatory response, what you describe makes perfect sense in your lungs. It's the same thing that happens to me when I have a bad asthma episode. You caused swelling in your lungs which led to a decreased supply of oxygen which caused a headache and nausea. You might want to consider a mask next time you want to bake.
  2. Not much funny from here, except that my technician pointed out that the guy across the hall has a GIANT plastic penis on his desk. Like really giant. And prepared for business.... And then I tried to look up giant rubber penis on google.....bad idea.....

  7. I'm having a "clean" week. Absolutely no bad food all week. I have nothing bad at home, so it's just the potato chips and cheese at the conferences that I need to worry about. Day one -- check
  8. Since gluten sensitivity is only now being recognized as an illness, I doubt that anyone has done any studies to determine it's inheritance. I believe this site is representing the unknown as untrue.
  9. Quick and easy, with a satisfying crunch! For a warm breakfast just add milk and pop it in the microwave! Use as a 'secret ingredient' in muffins! They'll never know they're eating healthy!
  10. You could expand your skills to include other food issues as well, maybe throw in a bit of nutrition counseling and day care feeding tips.
  11. I eat whatever I want for all meals, and I make all my food. Chicken soup, fish stew, chili, quiche, sweet potatoes, salads, eggs cooked however, fish with salsa, winter squash, etc.

  13. Did you actually contact Foster Farms to find out what they feed their chickens? Or just go by what you read? nm -- I see they have a statement on their website. Apparently Tyson adds antibiotic as well.
  14. Sounds like a 'clean the yard, yes, all of it' offense.
  15. you have to read the ingredients. Different recipes and different brands have different answers.

  17. Only you can see it, and I don't believe it's used for anything.
  18. My theme song for this quarter (or the next 5 years?? ) Open Original Shared Link
  19. Surgery is basically nothing. I stayed an extra day in the hospital because of parathyroid issues, but most people are released the next day. Pain was minimal, went away quickly, and most people don't realize I have a scar unless I tell them.
  20. I figured it was something like that, it just wasn't clear.

  22. This never works for me. I need to figure out how to make it better. How can I cook that food that I want? How can I make my shopping easier? How can I navigate the potluck today? For me it's about keeping control of my life.
