  2. this is a lot like how i travel on vacation..... anyone coming to spain with me?
  3. I have a rash on my face near my mouth and around my eyes. I'm spacing on what it's called, but it's basically a very low grade bacterial infection that's very common in women. I have an antibiotic cream that I use and I suppose if I were using it properly (daily) I could actually cure the rash, but I haven't been very diligent.
  4. I lost about 40 pounds in the first few months, gained a bit back, and have lost it again.
  5. You have an excellent reputation. Those of us that "know" you could tell it was just a typo.
  6. Awesome baby!
  7. Don't we all do this to some extent?
  8. Post your opinion/concern, as you did, and ask the person to provide the source of the data. If you aren't up for this, and you think the info may be potentially dangerous, report the post so the mods know to look at it.

  10. very cool. Here's another that suggests that it may be person specific: Open Original Shared Link and another that suggests age: Open Original Shared Link Maybe that's why most people feel better not eating processed food....
  11. They are not the same family. A Honda is not a Ford, but they are both cars. They are also not from human, AND, your gut is not supposed to allow food into your bloodstream, so a properly function intestine will deal with any proteins it's given
  12. 'transglutaminase' identifies an enzyme, like the word 'pin' identifies an attaching device. The word that comes before, like tissue transglutaminase, is the important part, (like safety pin, or straight pin).
  13. As long as you are having fun...
  14. Not all posts appear immediately. The mods are volunteers with annoying stuff like, jobs, and kids, that get in their way of keeping the board up. Give us a chance .
  15. I find three posts for you: https://www.celiac.com/gluten-free/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=user_posts&mid=34819 what is missing?
  16. forgot about the question! I think gluten looks like a semi-solid wisp of dark smoke that can suddenly have long sharp curved claws.
  17. There are no identified "Celiac genes", there are only genes associated with it. A genetic test is interesting, but not informative. Not having an 'associated' gene does not mean that you can't have the disease, it just means it's less likely. Having an 'associated' gene does not mean you have the disease, it just means it's more likely.
  18. Specific foods? Can you pin down which ones?
  19. I switched to grain free because my kids don't need grain any more than I do.
  20. We went from 60 degrees to snow flurries in one day.
  21. You need to include the reference ranges when you post results. Every lab is different.
  22. Jason, It's very unfair of you to decide for her what she is, or isn't interested in. If you have so little respect for her that you are unwilling to trust her judgment, then no, you shouldn't pursue her.
