  1. I haven't noticed any at all. You guys must be doing a great job. Thanks for keeping the board clean and tidy for us.
  2. Thanks everyone! I'm so excited! They were tossed onto the street when the cops raided a meth house and rescued by the neighbors who then called feral care. I'm expecting a few issues as they settle in, but that breed is so mellow I'm sure they'll be fine, given enough love and patience. They are just beautiful in person, and I'm sure will get...
  3. WoooHooo!! Keep at it! And I agree with Mango, you may find that your body stops needing to stuff itself because you are no longer starving it. And just as a heads up, when I went gluten-free, for the first month or so I was absolutely starving. If this is the case for you as well, give in to it, but choose healthy foods as much as possible. I ate...

  5. Have fun. Eat lots of turkish delight. Cruise the bosphoros. Hang out in the Blue mosque and watch all the tourists.
  6. Oh yeah. I've been doing this for about a year and a half so I'm pretty sure I've found all the tricky things. And my gluten response is all in my head , this was a gastro response.
  7. I've just discovered a problem with soy by running out of salt and using soy sauce to flavor something. A happy accident
  8. Hi David - very nicely written post. Sorry I grouched at you earlier. It is really hard to tell from printed words whether someone is being lighthearted and flippant, or deliberately provoking. I read your post as the latter when clearly you just meant to start a fun debate. Thanks for actually going to all the trouble to find some research. ...
  9. looks entirely synthetic to me
  10. This came up once before. I think the consensus was that there is no gluten in paper products, but some might have gluten in the glue they use on the roll to hold the last sheet on. "According to the Clan Thompson list the following products are NOT gluten free: Angel Soft Toilet Paper, Brawny Paper Towels, Mardi Gras Napkins and Paper towels, Quilted...
  11. Maybe before your hair thinned you looked like a million bucks.... My mom sent me a series of photos of men looking really bad entitled "why some women don't marry" The thong shorts just seemed appropriate. I'm thinking maybe I should give up on underwear entirely and just have something tattooed on.
  12. I've missed you Steve! Sorry about your life, but maybe this obnoxious bunch can help keep your mind off it
  13. and with one sentence she dismisses the oldest underground transport thingy in the world. I believe they used to pull the cars with horses (and maybe it wasn't underground then, Nikki?) I need some therapy before trying the thong again. And the ultralite on the website only came in small, and extra small, so probably won't be doing any online shopping...
  14. Here's your chance to have a nose job and have it paid for. Just and FYI, goats milk has casein. Maybe you could do the other milks (almond, rice, soy) and just limit AND rotate them so you have a treat of cereal once a week or so with a different milk each week.
  15. Nice of you not to add "maybe your butt's just too big"...
  16. Yeah. You do kick butt BB!!
  17. Unfortunately she appears to have no way of dealing with her illness: a complete disregard for other human beings.
  18. That was a fabulous letter, Bronco. I can't imagine how it could have been said any better.
  19. sigh, missing travel. I was thrilled to get those things out of my behind I friday. I decided you must have to build up a callous for them to not chafe.
  20. Come over to my house. I'll make you some grilled salmon. Hard to stop eating eat.
  21. Oh yikes!! I hadn't even thought about that!!
  22. So a few weeks ago I was having some really bad days and I really wanted to go out and stuff myself-preferably with beer and onion rings, but anything would have done. Well, I can't do that anymore, so in a desperate attempt to substitute in a new bad habit instead of facing what was bothering me, I bought some lacy undies. As the totally mad lark, I...
  23. What part of what you've said so far makes you think that recreating all these problems in her is a good idea?
  24. Maybe if we were all required to post a picture of our rear ends every time we gained weight we'd all be more compliant
  25. I've been good all week. I finally realized that when I eat differently I can't sleep. Last night I had curried chicken at the Thai restaurant. And no, I didn't sleep, and yes, my tummy has hurt all morning. Sigh
