  1. If you keep eating gluten, even accidentally, no amount of steroids will help you heal.
  2. Very cool! Nice color choice.
  3. I'm with steph. You have to stop getting glutened and find the food that works for you. Steroids are a bad thing and not something you should be trying to find just so you can eat processed food.
  4. If you can't tell, it might be time to back off a little....
  5. You need to stop eating gluten before you can start wondering about refractory Celiac. If, after being scrupulously gluten-free, you still have intestinal damage, then a doc will consider refractory. If you just aren't careful enough, well, you're in the same boat with the rest of us if we slip up.
  6. Is there any way to buy replacement pieces for the parts that come into contact with the bread? Blade and pan, I guess.
  7. Very happy for you. :) Open Original Shared Link
  8. surf the internet for three hours watch dumb sports learn my kids' names y'know......guy stuff
  9. Following PT's example. The up side of not being a cleaning fanatic is that it's easy to pull out an impressively dusty looking bottle of "aged" wine.
  10. That's why you come here for someone to lean against.
  11. I see. I was reading it wrong then. I do agree with this statement, how you go about effecting the change is important and I'm glad you realized that the rest of us are pretty similar in our approaches and offered your viewpoint. Perspective s a very good thing.
  12. hmm, now there's a whole different perspective. But if the situation isn't livable for Rachelle now, how could she continue to support it? I'd really have to think this through to see if I agree with what I understand you to be saying.
  13. A confident person doesn't need to criticize others for their lack of accomplishments. Your achievements, or lack there of do not reflect on me.
  14. I agree. And I think he's afraid you'll realize just how inadequate he is (in his mind) and dump him. To try to prevent you from figuring that out he's trying to make you feel less than you are, and himself seem more important.
  15. I sorta think this is the big issue. It's easy to criticize someone when you have no idea how hard their job is. I really mean stop doing his work. You guys already share dinner nights, so don't worry about that, but seriously, why on earth would you do his laundry? He's a grown man. Have separate bathrooms, his can look any way he wants it to. Also...
  16. I'm really gonna try to break this down to the most primal emotions here (and since we're girls, they're still a lot more complex than a male's emotions ) Why do you need him to notice? Would you do it if he weren't there? If yes, try to let it go. If no, don't do it. Ties in to above. If you got done what YOU wanted done, the...
  17. But bring your own clean sheet. Seriously. If we can figure out why it bothers you so much we can figure out how you can best handle it next time.
  18. soooo.....let's analyze this. Why did it upset you so much? (Aside from feeling unappreciated), do you think you should have completed the tasks he was grouching about? Do you feel that you are responsible for the housework?
  19. me too. Your hubs doesn't know how good he's got it. Sorry about the back, toots. My news for the day is that I made pickles. I used the juice left from store bought pickles and added it to jars of sliced (discount) cucumbers. For about two bucks I have four jars of pickled cucumbers, and two jars of pickled beet stems (for adding to things...
  20. Tell him you'll need an extra $300 a month for your second job as housekeeper. And yep, need a tat pic.
  21. There is an amazing group of knowledgeable people here.
  22. What is it you're supposed to get done? Both your kids are still alive, and you aren't sleeping on top of piles of trash. Anything more than that is just bonus as far as I'm concerned.......
  23. I'm glad you found us, and welcome! celiac disease can be measured by some form of testing (antibodies or biopsy) and gluten intolerant means you feel bad when you eat gluten, but they haven't figured out a lab test for it yet.
