    I got as far as the 'get dressed' step and decided that she was for people who don't get dressed every morning and race off to work. I need more of a Gnat Lady, someone who teaches you how to organize the least you need to do in order to still appear respectable.

    Went to BE's parent's house to watch the Viking Fest Parade (Love those small town parades) and sent them flowers to thank them. Astonishing the amount of brownie points you get for doing such a small thing. And I've made four people very happy (me, BE, his parents). Life is good.

    Even before this whole gluten thing I would go to a store and buy cold cuts and fruit/veggies for lunch. Why stop at a restaurant at all?

    Can you reschedule your vacation? Go somewhere else, do something else? Don't cancel the family fun, just do it differently.

    I'm pretty sure sizing up a man's scones will raise your blood, if you aren't careful.

    Very scary. I give blood all the time, and I hope that anyone eligible will make it a habit all the time, not just during emergencies (although, if you have a lot going on and can't donate regularly, emergencies are worth the extra effort on your part).
