  1. I have a few more years to fuss and whine before I'm expected to go under the "scope".
  2. A website says they are very cuddly, but not so good to let outside.
  3. I just got six new babies, including one of Open Original Shared Link
  4. So true for many things in life. It's generous of you to be so honest about your actions so the rest of us can't put up any excuses.
  5. Dry stuff shouldn't be a problem. It's the heated/soaking part of cooking that will coax all the stray bits of gluten out of the cracks. I just can't imagine that the little bit of baby drool that ends up all over everything towards the end of the meal adventure will be an issue. I assume you'd scrub it down wit a mind to getting rid of germs, and the...
  6. I feed my chickens gluten and I'm carefully about getting dust on my clothes, and I wash my hands after feeding them or petting them.
  7. Try getting regular chicken breasts and skinning them yourself to see if that makes a difference. It could be the processing, CC, etc. The less handled your food is before it gets to you, the more you know about what's on the outside.
  8. I would think it would be fine since you aren't cooking anything in it. Scrub it well, and don't feed your son soup straight off the tray. Bleach won't really make a difference, go for a scrubby thing or brush instead.
  9. neuro issues can take months to clear up
  10. WIH Lo??? Did you decide to save up every complicating event of life so's you could get them all over with at once? Efficient, yes, but geez. Yer gonna be spending weeks wandering through hospitals.
  11. I liked that brown rice part. White food can't be good for you.

  13. When I initially went gluten-free I could not use canola oil at all. Now I don't pay attention to being in something (since I rarely buy processed foods, any exposure would be small), but I won't eat anything cooked in it. (eg, potato chips)
  14. Well good. At least he didn't pick the one closest to skiing nude beaches.
  15. Also check this thread: Open Original Shared Link
  16. Cute! Play with them as much as possible so they'll enjoy tolerate being played with when they're grown.
  17. I have friends who can't have chickens at their house, so we're forming a chicken co-op. They'll pay me one bag of feed for every 4 dozen eggs, or roughly $4/dozen. This is quite a bit cheaper than farmer's market eggs, and despite all the fancy labeling, anything you buy at the grocery store has no flavor.
  18. Here ya go: Open Original Shared Link On his business site he says his eggs are corn free as well.
  19. 'tis fab. I'm planning on getting 8 more this weekend. I suppose the girls will be jealous.
  20. Corn and soy aren't good for chickens and I doubt they would feature prominently in any feed. Additionally, chickens eat bugs, so that 'vegetarian/free range' thing does not work.
  21. It is kind of funny. For $20 you were the other woman for a day.
  22. Blah. Go home and throw up and you'll be right as rain in the morning.
