Well in my case my husband is very immature.....I'll give him a little credit since he has grown up a little since we first got together. It is possible he see's me as an extention of his mommy dearest. His mother all the way untill he left home did everything for him from meal prep to cleaning his room. I on the other hand was raised quit the opisite...

Thanks...your post helps after a very depressing week. I am glad to hear that your family was able to work through all of this. I hope my husband quits thinking I'm looking for attention and that I am over exaterating my symptoms. I'm glad to find that maybe there is hope for him yet. We've been together for almost 6 years and have two great daughters...

I have yet to be diagnosed but believe that I am bibolar. I have only been diagnosed with depression. My docs want me to go on meds but I don't like them....it's good to know that maybe there might be an alternative. I also hope that going gluten free will help. This whole bipoler thing is driving me nuts.

Only for about 36 hours (I only ate frozen pees, grilled chicken and rice).....my tummy felt better and my bowels improved....when I ate gluten again (pizza) I felt like throwing up and had diareah within 20 mins or so. I was told not to stay on the diet in order to get accurate results for testing.....my grandmother keeps reminding me of this....she's one...

hannahsue01 replied to a topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
Hi...I'm glad to hear that Emma is doing better. Hopefully she starts to gain wieght soon and that you guys can get her diet figured out. Can I ask why she was put on the feeding tube? My youngest is on one....but for preemie reasons and they said they may put are oldest on one for extra nutrition but she eats more than I or her father do. -
I guess this is more for me than a question itself. I have been having a terrible past few days. Besides the normal stressors my husband has become a big source of my stress once again. I.......as I am sure many of you can relate...am feeling horrible both physically and mentally right now. I have not gone gluten free yet as my family and my husband want...

hannahsue01 replied to Jenybeen's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
With my daughters tummy surgery she wasn't allowed to eat anything after I think 8pm the night before untill surgery and then didn't eat again untill the night of her surgery. She didn't have to drink that one stuff I think because she wasn't knocked out all the way she was just sedated with the stuff that makes you forget all of it. But I saposse if they... -
ARCHIVED What Should I Expect?
hannahsue01 replied to Jenybeen's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
It is not the exact same procedure but my 9 month old daughter recently had a g-tube (feeding tube in her tummy) placed. They had to put camera's down her throat and put a hole through her tummy. However. they didn't nock her out compleatly.....she was still concious. She had to be there about 2 hrs before hand to have an IV placed. We got to stay with... -
ARCHIVED The Truth About Splenda
hannahsue01 replied to justjane's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
Oh my....thanks for posting this. I am very upset to find out that once again we have been mislead by a food company...like I should be surprised. I for one had no clue and thought it was "made from real sugar" therefore not bad for you....well any more than real sugar. I for one can not have the other fake sugar. If I even have a couple of sips of diet... -
ARCHIVED More Deaths For Caesarean Babies
hannahsue01 replied to gfp's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
To each her own I guess. Every mother has the right to dicide for herself what it is she wants for herself and her baby. Often mothers have no choice as somthing goes wrong. I myself can not understand why a mother would choose to have a c-section by choice....from what I hear a vaginal delivery is much easier to recover from. With my personal experiences... -
ARCHIVED How Many Of You/your Children Were Preemies?
hannahsue01 replied to skipper30's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
Oh ok...that makes sense. I don't know if prom is exactly related but I don't see why it would not be a possibility. Premature birth is not uncomen in celiacs. My baby was born 3 months early due to placental abrubtion. I am told that the babies aren't getting enough nutriants to support there survival any longer because we are not absorbing enough of... -

My gyno had suggested an IUD. I have tried the pills and they made my stomach upset.....only tried two different ones. I am currently back on the depo shot. I was on it four 4 years previous to my last baby. ARCHIVED Swollen Achy Arm

I have had this problem on a number of occasions for about the past two years and yet again tonight it has happened again. I sometimes get it in my leg but usually in my arm. I get a dull ache starting from my neck....it hurts most where my shoulder is and goes all the way down my arm. It feels like it is swollen up. It usually gets warm but hasn't so... -

ARCHIVED Test Results
hannahsue01 replied to nikki182's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Ummm.....I am sure other people will reply to this as well. If you were diagnosed with mod to severe celiac my understanding is that regardless of symptoms or lack of you will be doing damage to yourself. I would be questoning your doctors knowledge if he is telling you that you can eat gluten. As far as your new symptoms it could be your meds or it may... -

ARCHIVED Before Going gluten-free Was Anyone Else Always Hungry?
hannahsue01 replied to a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I would agree with the above that you need to go back on the diet.....your doing damage to your body. I have yet to go on the diet myself because I am waiting for testing. My fasting blood sugar tests came back ok. I am currently and have been for some time EXTREEMLY hungry all the time. Like you after eating I feel as though I never ate not long after... -

I have had reacurent boils for over two years now. I was on Antibiotics for over three months straight taking them 4x a day.
