  1. I had this bar a couple years ago and forgot why I stopped eating it and now remember why. It says "NO gluten" right on the wrapper but despite this claim I didn't do so well with it. Twenty minutes after eating two bars I felt a sudden plunge in my energy level the best way to describe it would be a debilitating tiredness like chronic fatigue syndrome...
  2. I think I would have said the same thing ten years ago, but after going 100% gluten-free for many years now I know in the past what I thought was gluten free
  3. It is important to note that Amy's Cheese enchilda states that no gluten is contained but does "not" claim to be gluten free for good reason. I'm very sick 20 mins. after eating this product, be sure to stick to the dinners they make that say "Gluten Free"... In lots of pain right now.
  4. "I spoke to my colleague this afternoon, Paul LaPenas of Bay State Wines. There is no such thing as gluten-free wine" Can this be accurate because we have establised some red wines are gluten free when they are prepared with out the flour or from non-gluten containing barrels, or were you trying to say that your friend is stating there is no way to be...
  5. They told me their chicken stuffed tortillas are gluten free, but I got foggy headed after eating them so don't believe it.
  6. FYI: Not everything is "clearly" labeled. Their crab meat is artificial and has gluten in it.
  7. I hope this is guy does time for this.
  8. I'm going to Mexico in Febuary, and the resort is all inclusive. Since food is free how do I make sure I don't get glutened or would any of you even risk it?
  9. Switch over to the Almond Milk, it says Gluten free right on the front!
  10. Can someone answer the original question?
  11. Anyone know if the Folgers 100% Columbian is gluten free? Also the French Roast Folgers too?
  12. Wait, so what cooking sprays are gluten free?
  13. Any other opinions???
  14. Leapin Lemur kick... I don't think this one claims to be gluten free, if memory serves me correctly.
  15. I spend many hours in the sun each weekend fishing; does anyone know of a gluten free lip protection that has an SPF of 30 or more? I'd love to find an SPF 50 or greater but I'm thinking SPF 30 will probably be the highest.
  16. It was my understanding that the price differnce in our food could be written off. This article is referring to procedures, does anyone know if food can be written off?
  17. I have heard that it is allow to write off our taxes the additional cost of food associated with our disease. Can someone explain exactly what a person needs to do? Is it necessary to itemize all receipts of food? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
  18. Open Original Shared Link (click on the "what's inside" tab) What is going on here? Is this gluten free or not? It says in this link that is contains wheat, and then right below that is says it doesn't contain gluten. What the heck??? Does anyone know of a gluten free icing for cake?
  19. You are rolling the dice by doing this, there are manufactures that use dedicated gluten free lines, thanks for posting this update.
  20. They say no, but my stomach cramped up after drinking it.
  21. Yes, all locations serve their gluten free pizza. I am very sensitive and have problems when I eat the gluten free pizza from Waldo's and Hy-Vee, but I have had zero problems with Godfather's and it taste just like real pizza for a change! I feel sorry for celiacs that don't have one near them.
  22. Most likely your gluten free diet has something in it that you think is safe but actually is not. (I think most of this have expierenced that a time or two) I am a very sensitive celiac and I use shampoo, and hair gel that has gluten in it and I don't have any problems. When I sweat I do however make a point to keep and perspiration away from my mouth...
  23. I was under the impression that some malodextrin was okay...
