Does anyone else experience this?

Feeling like I am full of gas through my entire GI tract, but it's not passing. Gurgling, including gurgling in my throat. I keep feeling like I have trapped burps in my chest, but I can't belch. Heartburn.

This is a symptom that was nearly constant before I went gluten free this month, and I don't know if it's directly connected to gluten. But I did eat something suspicious today - brain fog set in about an hour later, had a vague headachey feeling.

I need to eat, but don't feel like I want to put anything in my stomach :(

2007 - dx'd with Graves' Disease
Suspected DH (no biopsy)
Tested negative for celiac (after gluten free two months)

2012 - Gluten free again after suggestion it might help my thyroid symptoms. Many strange one-off symptoms cleared up. Brain fog gone.

Digestive enzymes, probiotics, water.

It sucks when you get into something.

I think mOst of us have experienced a wide range of grossness and gurgling and gas.

Just do what feels right. I learned not to go too long without food, though, or I get other symptoms that are just as bad. Try a clear broth - boil a chicken or beef bones and freeze the stock and keep it around for such occasions.

Yep, pro-biotics, no sugar, no starch, no dairy, no alcohol, and take some peppermint tea if the gas gets too bad.
