I'm So Proud Of My Hubby...

We were eating breakfast at McDonald's this morning. I was eating the fruit and yogurt parfait. Hubby was eating a Mcgriddle sandwich. I offered him some of my parfait on my spoon and he said "I just ate that sandwich" and I was like "so, just try this, it's yummy" and he said "But I just ate that sandwich" and I proceeded to stick my spoon in his mouth and right then I realized that he was worried about cross contamination. I was so happy that he thought of that right away, even before me. I went and got a new spoon, of course. :D Yay, hubby!

Aw! Mine is like that too, isn't it nice to be able to relax and know that he is looking out for you too?

We went to a dart thing of his at a bar not too long ago, and I went to the bathroom right away when we got there. He had a bottled soda sitting on the bar for me and said "I hope this kind is ok, I remember you saying that this brand was gluten-free and they didn't have anything else in a bottle or can. I didn't want to get you a fountain soda, can you imagine how contaminated that thing must be (gives a dirty look at the sprayer-thing)?" That was so cute I almost died.

It does make me feel really good to know he is listening to all the things I tell him about this disease. It shows me that he really does care. :)

You'll see him again, Jen. Just on a temporary hiatus while I show off my new doggy. Brown's still my baby.

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
    • mishyj
Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
