If my son has celiac will we have to remove all gluten from the house? I hear many people do.

There is no one right answer--it will vary from case to case. Many families have a mixed environment and manage.

I made my whole house gluten-free; I felt like I was enough of a short order cook already. LOL I'm a celiac, and two of my three boys has a problem with gluten, so it seemed easier to switch everyone. That way my gluten-free boys don't feel like they are missing out if one boy continues to eat gluten. There are enough substitutes out there that they don't feel too hard done by. And hubby can get his gluten hits when he's out of the house.
