Hello!

I am stuck again with not understanding what it is about caramel color that we are not supposed to have. Can anyone explain this to me?

Also, are Frito's and Tostitos okay or not? It is my understanding that they are not produced on dedicated productions lines. Am I wrong? I noticed, according to what I read here. that Lays Stax are okay.

Thanks for any help! I have called so many companies that I need a day off. I know so many of you already have the answers to both these questions. :D

In the health and wellness section they have lists of gluten free, casien free, egg free, you name it.

They don't use wheat flour to dust thier lines. ( I just spoke to them about 20 minutes ago)

I eat the Frito-Lay products that are on thier lists. Since they don't use wheat flour to dust, and they clean the lines between runs, I'm ok with that. I need my natural white cheddar cheetos. Also, Frito-Lay lists allergens right on the bag, so it's easy to tell which ones are ok.

Also, I started another thread, their AMC movie nachos are gluten-free.

Lays Staxx say on the can that they are gluten-free.

Caramel color manufactured in the US should be gluten-free.

      It can take longer than 6 months for antibodies to drop to the normal range,  My DGP IgA took a few years as I got stricter and stricter about being gluten free  But having symptoms again could also mean you’re getting some gluten in your diet.

      Hi, I just had my 6 month check after being diagnosed Celiac 6 months ago.  All of my panel numbers were normal except: Deamidated Gliadin Abs, IgA (It is 31 with high being over 30)  I have also been having symptoms again. Am I not actually being as careful as I think I am or does it take longer than 6 months for this particular test to come back down?  I can't get ahold of my doctor this week as she is out.     Thank you!

      That is very strange, because it looks to me like two very different test results, but for the same test! It's definitely time to contact your doctor for clarity on this.

      Scott, thank you SO MUCH for this!! She has been through so much in the last three years as we've tried to track down answers. This language will definitely help me help her to reframe.
