The google ads change by what you look at. If we mention pizza a bunch..... We might get a Pizza Hut ad. Right now I have liposuction - maybe because I have been commenting on the poster getting weight loss surgery.

When we were talking about dating, a dubious site about dating popped up. If it's really inappropriate, you can PM Scott with the link and he might be able to block it.

Let's see.....

Mmmmm pizza.... I see dominos ads quite frequently.

Who hates seeing food ads on TV?  Right now there is a commercial running for On the Border for their taco special and it has a guy saying "Taco! Taco! Taco Taco Taco Taco Taco Taco Taco Taco......" with pictures of delicious tacos, LOL.

The thing is - those tacos are not that delicious in real life.

Haha, yes!  I ate there once or twice back in the day and in a place like Texas with good mexican food everywhere, it is subpar.  And now I know the secrets to making my own delicious tacos... I am going to spoil myself to death!

beth01 Enthusiast

now I want a taco.

I put on over 12kg by eating protein with every meal, 3 to 5 times a day. Eggs, Chicken, Tuna, Turkey etc. I stay away from too much red meat as it can be inflammatory. Scott is correct. I've come across a bunch of Coeliac PT's on Tiktok and Instagram. They all say the same thing, the key is getting enough protein and consistency.

It's great to hear that eliminating gluten has helped alleviate symptoms like eye burning, which is a significant and positive change. The first and most important step is to ensure you're consuming enough protein throughout the day to support muscle repair and growth, which can be challenging with a busy schedule. Since you're already physically active at work, adding focused strength training just 2-3 times per week can make a major difference. Bodyweight exercises like squats, push-ups (modified if needed), and lunges, or using resistance bands at home, are excellent, efficient places to start. Remember, consistency with these short sessions and prioritizing post-workout recovery, including good sleep and hydration, are just as crucial as the workouts themselves. It's a smart, gradual process at any age.

Trader Joe's carries a good variety of affordable gluten-free foods like bagels, hamburger buns, pasta, etc. I like Franz Gluten Free bread, which is available at my local Costco. Food For Life and Little Northern Bakehouse (advertisers here) also make excellent gluten-free breads. Costco also sells gluten-free pizzas, crackers, gravy, etc.
