Test Result Help, Please

I am 30 and just got tested for the first time in my life. I have always had problems but lately have been so sick and in so much pain I have been in the hospital 3 times.  Just got my results but don't have a follow-up appt. yet.  What do these results mean? These where ordered by a GI but he never said he wanted me to come back.

The alignment of your test results (posting) is off, but I think your score was a 40.  That appears to be positive.  Why would the GI say not to come back?

I tried to fix the alignment but can't seem to.  I don't know why he didn't tell me to follow up, this was my first GI appt. he just told me to take gas medicine and ordered these blood test.

Yikes!  I would find another doctor.   A positive is a positive!  Not every test on the celiac blood panel needs to be positive.  I tested positive on just one and yet biopsies revealed moderate to severe Intestinal damage.  Here is the complete list for the celiac panel.  You could ask for it or get another doctor to run them:

 

-Tissue Transglutaminase (tTG) IgA and (tTG) IgG

-Deamidated Gliadin Peptide (DGP) IgA and (DGP) IgG

-EMA IgA 

-total serum IgA and IgG (control test)

 

 

-endoscopic biopsy - make sure at least 6 samples are taken

 

VERY IMPORTANT:  Keep eating gluten daily until ALL testing is complete or the tests can be inaccurate.
