A friend of mine who has Celiac is coming up in 2 weeks, and we are going to go to Risotteria and then I will take him here, so we can try it out. I'll let you all know my review.

Happy Happy Happy is pretty good. Can be a tad on the dry side but definately worth going to. I keep meaning to try Babycakes which is another gluten-free bakery in the city,

You will not be disappointed with Risotteria. It's awesome.

Way cool, Stefi - You're a celebrity!

I'm on Happy Happy Happy's mailing list somehow, but haven't tried them out yet.

I know right! its so funny, my friends keep calling me to say "I just read about you in the times, heard you like to eat a lot!" should i be proud?!

a friend of mine brought HHH's cupcakes to my birthday, and they were fine. a MUCH better option, imho, is the fudgie at risotteria-- 2 fanTAStic chocolate chip cookies (that taste light and chewy like "real" cookies) with a ton of chocolate fudge frosting between them. probably dessert for a family of 8. i finished it in a night.

gobble gobble.

A panini and a fudgie from Risoterria AND my (early) b-day cake came from Mr Ritts bakery today - I am in gluten-free, sugar-filled HEAVEN!

The fudgie at Risotteria is AMAZING!!!! I went there a few months ago with 2 non-celiac friends and we were all devouring that thing as if we'd never eaten before!!

Jillian,

For the record, when we all get together at Risoterria in January, the goal is for us each to finish our OWN fudgie - deal?

I know I can do it! Anyone else up to the challenge?

- Lauren

LOL!!! I'm up for it Lauren : )

Have you tried the yellow cake they have with raspberry and chocolate frosting? I don't think they have it every day but it is awesome!

Lauren M Explorer

Wow, Jillian, that sounds amazing! Unfortunately, yesterday was only my second time at Risoterria, and they haven't had that cake yet. Yesterday they had the cookies, brownies, and some pie. I'm not a big pie person, so I went with the fudgie. It was an excellent choice :P

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
