I have been gluten, dairy and egg free since 2011.  I have been on plaquenil for possible sjogrens disease also.  I recently got tested for sjogrens with a new more accurate  test and tested negative so now I am trying life without plaquenil.   Recently I started researching dairy with low amounts of lactose to try to see if I can tolerate it.  Earlier attempts have failed.  I now can say that I am able to eat cheddar, butter,  Parmesan and swiss cheese in moderation.  I am going to try yogurt this week.  I can't understand why I can finally do this after all these years but I feel blessed.  It couldn't come at a better time in my life.  Just wanted to share and to encourage everyone to keep trying and believing.  It comes to those who wait and are patient.

Welcome to the forum, Renaye!

I am glad that you got some dairy back into your diet.  It is so encouraging to hear a good outcome!

Ugg dairy...not even going to rationalize that. >.< 10+ years of latose intolerance here, whey allergy to top it off. >.< I brain washed myself with PETA videos, and anti dairy stuff. I firmly to this day put dog and cow milk on the same level.

>.<  I do eat cheese daily...vegan cheese.  I make cheese sauces...vegan, I have cheddar, parma, brie, blue, and mozzarella cheese non dairy extracts. I have cheese cake extracts....I live on nut and seed milks....and eat homemade icecream daily..... >.> all non dairy versions lol

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
