Hair loss

Csilla Newbie

Hello, I was diagnosed 10 years ago. I live gluten free since then. I live a healthy lifestyle, cook fresh and mostly organic. Eat mostly plant based. 4 years ago I started to get extrem hair loss. Never had that before, I lost in this 4 years the half of my hair. I had a good doctor and ge ran many tests, nothing found what could cause this hair loss. I stoped drinking/eating out of plastic (bpa) stoped eating any GMO's. Still hair loss. I have to most if I eat gluten free grain. Is there anybody out there with similar experiences. Thanks Csilla

I know someone who lost a lot of hair when they were low on iron for quite a while.  Maybe a low amount of red meat in your diet is causing an iron deficiency?  Just guessing.

I started losing my sense of taste from not eating beef for too long. Now I'm eating lots of beef and getting it back. Not the same as hair loss.

Have other autoimmune disorders been ruled out?  When was the last time your antibodies were tested for active celiac disease?

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?

Thank you for the links to the articles.  Interesting reading. I'll be telling my brother in law because he has a lot of pain
