1.  Your result was negative, but did they run an Immunoglobulin (IgA) test?  For celiac disease testing, checking for an IgA deficiency can impact any IgA test (TTG  IgA).  It is used as a control test.  Many celiacs are IgA deficient.  2.   Next, some people NEVER test positive on the TTG IgA test (like me).  The TTG IgA test is very good, but it is not 100% accurate.   You can ask for the other celiac blood tests: DGP and EMA.  More information can be found here:

3.  Then there are some people who are seronegative.   In that case, a GI would proceed to an endoscopy).

You can not rule out celiac disease yet!

The solution I had to drink contained sorbitol and mannitol. I was in the MRI, lying on my back, for about 40 minutes. I was given glucagon partway through, and a gadolinium contrast agent. After I got home there was some diarrhea from the prep solution.

https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/joim.70025 Very recent (September 2025) Finland study may be of interest. Borderline negative and low positive ant-TTG, with negative and positive EMA tests in patients diagnosed with Celiac Disease.
