Hi. My 10 year oldd daughter has Celiac. We see a pediatric GI. I am wanting to find a Dr who specializes in Celiac. We live in Charlotte NC and will basically travel anywhere. So tired of watching my daughter suffer even though she is on a gluten free diet. Any recommendations appreciated. Thank you

I am sorry that your daughter is unwell.  How long has she been gluten free?  It can take a year or longer for her to heal.  Yes, that long!  Why?  The gluten free diet has a steep learning curve.  Mistakes are made.  That is normal. Glut n can be hidden in so many places. 

Consider feeding her non-processed foods.  Do NOT eat out and if she does eat processed foods, make sure they are gluten free as stated on a label until you get the knack of reading labels down.  Do this until she is feeling better.  Take risks when she is well and healed.

      I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.
