Foot Pain

I'm wondering if anyone else gets this. It may be completely random but just figured I'd ask and see if anyone else has this happen and maybe it is somehow related to celiac disease.

The last few weeks I suddenly get these intense, sharp shooting pains in my foot, almost like I twisted or sprained the bones in my foot. It only lasts for a few seconds and then its ok again.

I get that sometimes... mostly when i stand up or step down from something like a chair. It is a sharp pain kinda like a charlie horse..on the bottom of my foot. It hurts like crazy for 15sec tops and then goes away. I dont kno if its connected or not...i've only recently noticed it in the last 2yrs.

Actually, yes, I have experienced shooting pains in my feet (left in particular) over the last few weeks...I'm a runner, so I was automatically attributing it to overuse and pounding. I never thought about it being related to my celiac (or anything else). Wow...anyone else?

I've had that, espeically when I've been sitting for some time and then got up. And it also happens a lot when I'm cold.....weird, right?

I actually have hairline fractures in my feet.

I get sharp and excruciating pains in my right foot. I have a broken bone in it that the doc said it would do no good to fix, and I have RA and OA, so I think that my pain is just a progression of the diseases combined with the break.

Yeah it's kinda like a charlie horse, but not really. It's that same concept of sharp shooting pain, but it not like a tightening of the muscle like you feel with a charlie horse. It feels more like someone is twisting my bones. And yeah it will be an intense pain for like 15 seconds or so and then back to normal.

It's not something I really plan on going to the doctor about or anything, but I was curious to see if anyone else gets this. Guess I'm not alone. ;)

Why are so many gluten free items not safe for celiacs. I read labels all the time. I don’t know how many times they say that and are not safe for people who have celiacs. So confused. Help….
