I have been looking around at gluten free sites and ran across the website of "The Gluten Free Godess" She did a brownie mix challenge (which was interesting reading for us newbies) but also had a recipe for homemade brownies. They have ground almonds and brown rice flour and the were honestly the best brownies I have had ...

I added walnuts and chocolate chips to the top before baking!

My whole family loved them and my lovely daughter told me that if this was gluten free cooking then to sign her up! She was on board!

here is the address! The recipe is linked in from the brownie picture.

Doesn't work for me either.

My favorite brownies are the Gluten Free Pantry ones. My husband looooves them. He likes to top it with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and Chocolate sauce.

I have tried the Namataste (sp?) and the gluten-free pantry. I really prefer the gluten-free pantry. Thought they were yummy!

PS- I could not get the link to work.

I did a google search for gluten free goddess + brownies and this was one of the links. Open Original Shared Link It sounds like it could be the one -- it has almond meal in it. :)

It sounds like you have a very reasonable GI doctor, who diagnosed you based on family history and symptoms after eating gluten. I would consider you lucky! The other option would be to make yourself very sick by doing weeks of a gluten challenge prior to an endoscopy.

Hi Colleen H,   I suffered with the pins and needles/burning feeling in my legs and feet for at least  6 years until my Nephrologist figured out that I had to go on a low salt diet.  He said my kidneys weren't strong enough to remove the salt.  The simple fix was a diuretic, but that med leaves the uric acid behind, so that wasn't an option.  On the bright side the low salt diet lowered my BP over 20 points and and the pins and needles/burning feeling went away.  Good Luck and hope this helps.

Yes this is very frustrating for me ... not sure what to think.  Feels like I'm having reactions to a lot of things  Now applesauce?? I don't understand 😞

I did ... But aren't we going to be vitamin deficienct if we are not eating due to being sick ?? If the food we eat is gluten free and we have other sensitivities , how do we get out of the cycle??  Thank you

Anyone else get pins and needles. ??? Burning feeling ? Heat makes it so much worse 😔  Winter is here.  I had to lower my thermostat because I couldn't take that hot air feeling 😔  Hopefully it goes away soon
