Scd-coconut Milk Yogurt

I finally tried my coconut milk yogurt tonight...I mixed in some chopped strawberries, and it's wonderful...really it is! I think anyone who ate this would think it was yogurt, but would wonder about the different flavor, which is sort of like coconut but then not exactly. But it's nice. A bit thin, but not bad....next time I'll try to add a bit more gelatin, but with fruit mixed in it's a great substitute for dairy. I was really missing the yogurt end of things. This one went for 24 hours and it's tart, but not in the same way milk gets tart. It's actually fairly mild. So it's nice. :P:P:P

Glad you like it! I've been enjoying it too. I sort of invented the recipe. Well, actually I stole the idea from someone that was yogurtizing cashew milk. I figured almost anything could be yogurtified. :D

I'm going to try to make almond milk next and yogurt it up!

Actually, the cashew milk sounds good to me too!

Are you just following regular yogurt making instructions but subbing coconut milk or have you a special recipe? Claire

I had wondered about a non-dairy yogurt, but never had the ambition to investigate...thanks for posting!

Yes--I never really knew there was such a thing  . On the link above, I saw that it was possible to make yogurt from almond milk--there was even a recipe for homemade almond milk. I would like to try that sometime.

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
