I would like to see if I have any predisposition to celiac based on my raw genetic data. Any help would be highly appreciated.

My results are as follows (based on https://www.geneticlifehacks.com/more-on-the-genetics-of-celiac-disease/  ):

HLA-DQ2.5:

rs2187668  CC (typical (no risk for celiac unless HLA-DQ8)

HLA-DQ8:

rs7454108   TT : typical (no risk for celiac unless HLA-DQ2)

HLA-DQ2.2:

rs4713586   AA HLA-DQ2.2 possible if you also have rs2395182 T, and rs7775228 C

rs2395182   TT : HLA-DQ2.2 possible if you also have rs4713586 A/A, and rs7775228 C

rs7775228   TT not HLA-DQ2.2

Also:

rs3184504   CT increased relative risk of celiac (with HLA type above)

rs2816316   AA increased relative risk of celiac (with HLA type above)

rs917997    CC  no increased risk

rs6441961   CC  no increased risk

rs601338    AG no increased risk

Seems I'm off the hook but wanted to be sure, thanks!

I'm not sure we have any genetic "experts" here who would be able to go into this in detail, but this article has some general info?

It looks like you have the genetic makeup to possibly get celiac disease, but I could not tell your overall risk from what you posted.

Have you spoken to the lab who did the test and gave you these results? They should be able to do that.

Welcome to the forum, @yellowstone! The most common ones seem to be dairy (casein), oats, eggs, soy and corn. "Formed" meat products (because of the "meat glue" used to hold their shape) is a problem for some. But it can be almost anything on an individual basis as your sensitivity to rice proves, since rice is uncommonly a "cross reactor" for celiacs. Some celiacs seem to not do well with any cereal grains.

What foods can trigger a response in people with gluten sensitivity? I've read that there are foods that, although they don't contain gluten, can cause problems for people with gluten sensitivity because they contain proteins similar to gluten that trigger a response in the body. I've seen that other cereals are included: corn, rice... also chicken, casein. I would like to know what other foods can cause this reaction, and if you have more information on the subject, I would like to know about it. Right now, I react very badly to rice and corn. Thank you.
