I can't seem to figure out how to do it, is it possible to do boolean searchs(on this message board)? Like and/or/not?

The search engine seems to default to those most worthless case of OR.

Nope. It's an OR, with a minimum search word of four characters. It's the one irritating thing on an otherwise great board.

Sometimes I do get some luck just doing a google or yahoo search and including glutenfreeforum in the search string. It won't get you everything, but if you're looking for a specific answer to a question, it can be helpful in pulling up at least a couple things.

Or try this....

Actually, for those of you who have trouble using the search engine here, you could always use Google's.

1. Go to google.com

2. Choose "advanced search" (URL is: Open Original Shared Link

3. Type in your search query in the blue "find results" area at the top.

4. Go to "domain" further down and choose "only" and type in "glutenfreeforum.com"

5. Click "Google Search" near the top right.

Cool. never even thought of that. Probably won't work for real recent posts, but great idea for older ones. Already found a few questions I had been searching for.

GliadinX is such a product and many/some report it really helps. In the interest of disclosure, the company that produces it is one of our sponsors.

Occasionally eating out in restaurants means that there is potential cross contamination in spite of ordering a gluten free dish. What enzyme supplements can the forum recommend that would help with potential cross contamination? Something I could take before I start eating. I used to order Wheat Rescue from Microbiome lab, but it is not available anymore.

Hi  - Anyone have any experience with these? I bought them at Costco thinking they must be gluten-free, but now I see Natural Flavors and Spice in the ingredients. There's no Gluten Free labeling. However the Costco site and two other sites say it's gluten free. Anyone know?

Yes, I doubt you can find a perfectly safe restaurant--perhaps a dedicated gluten-free restaurant, but in general, very few of them exist, and they tend to be in larger cities. Super sensitive celiacs should probably just avoid eating out.
