I Must Be So Behind On Finding This

I must be way behind on discovering stuff. I have always bought mixes from different places that I just add eggs or something to them for Jacob's cookies. I am not a very good at going OUTSIDE the box if you know what I mean...I have to have a receipe or for someone to tell me what to put in stuff...Well I had made someone at church some Toll House Choc Chip cookies and I was looking in the Mexican section at Wal-Mart for tortilla's for my older son and I saw a box that said Rice Flour by TRES ESTRELLAS...You would think Jacob being on this diet that I would have seen this before now...We have been doing this for a year!!! Anyway I used the receipe for the Toll House cookies and made them tonight..WOW what a difference in the texture of these cookies...It was just like mixing up the regular cookies...They taste awesome!!!

I know there are tons of stuff out there and it seems I learn something everyday!!! MY MIL makes him pancakes and I got her a box of this and she is making some tonight. She always bought the gluten-free flour and used it. OH and this rice flour cost $.99 a BOX:)

Have a wonderful night.

wow! That could save a lot of $$. Is it just rice flour, or is it a blend?

Wow - have to look for that. I also made a find at an oriental market for sweet rice flour and rice flour. VERY cheap. haven't tried it yet, but stuck it in the freezer for future use.

I buy Goya Rice Flour found in my local Shop Rite supermarket in the international section, I pay about 1.39 for a bag of it.

Thank you. I must have misinterpreted a study or something. Thank you for the clarification. Much appreciated. Almost three years into my celiac diagnosis and I'm still learning new things.

I wasn’t clear, glucagon and gadolinium were intravenous. I drank about 5 cups of the prep during 45 minutes. I feel very tired now, probably partly because I was nervous, and partly because I had to fast for 6 hours beforehand and wasn’t very hungry when I got home.

That seems at lot of solution to have put threw you when you already have bowel issues , I will phone them tomorrow because it's sorbitol I have reactions too, thankyou for the input how do you feel now ? I'm not sure I can keep still for that long with my back issues either unfortunately I didn't know it could take that long 😕

The solution I had to drink contained sorbitol and mannitol. I was in the MRI, lying on my back, for about 40 minutes. I was given glucagon partway through, and a gadolinium contrast agent. After I got home there was some diarrhea from the prep solution.
